Indigo's POV ~
"Thank you all for being here today," Indigo said warmly "We will try to visit soon", her voice carrying genuine appreciation as she addressed Clint and his family. Her eyes sparkled with gratitude and happiness as she glanced around at the familiar faces gathered in T'Challa's palace courtyard.
T'Challa's generosity had made the day even more magical. The courtyard was adorned with a profusion of wildflowers, their vibrant colors painting a picturesque scene under the Wakandan sky. Tables draped in elegant green fabrics were arranged around the courtyard, adorned with delicate floral arrangements that complemented the natural beauty of their surroundings. Soft music, a carefully curated selection of her favorite songs, filled the air with melodies that added a touch of romance and joy to the celebration.
Indigo took a deep breath, savoring the moment as she felt familiar arms wrap around her waist. A soft smile graced her lips as Bucky nestled his head against her shoulder, his lips brushing gently against her neck.
"You are looking absolutely beautiful, Indigo Barnes," he murmured, his voice filled with adoration.
Indigo turned within his embrace, her eyes meeting his with affectionate amusement. "You've said that a million times, James," she teased lightly, her smile growing wider as she looked up at him.
Bucky chuckled softly, his fingers gently tracing patterns on her waist. "And I'll continue to say it for the rest of our lives. You take my breath away every time I see you."
Indigo smiled up at him, his eyes shining brightly. It had been the best day of her life, a culmination of dreams and hopes she had never dared imagine would come true. As she looked around at the courtyard filled with wildflowers and the laughter of friends and family, she couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with happiness.
She intertwined her fingers with his, feeling the warmth and strength of his hand in hers. Bucky squeezed her hand gently, his smile tender and filled with unspoken promises for their future together.
Before they could exchange another word, Tony's voice interrupted their moment, accompanied by Pepper's warm presence. Indigo turned to see Tony and Pepper walking over, their expressions a mix of amusement and affection.
"Let's wait for tonight before we start fondling each other," Tony quipped with a mischievous grin, earning a playful eye roll from Pepper. She nudged him gently, a fond smile tugging at her lips.
Indigo couldn't help but laugh, the sound light and joyous in the midst of their intimate gathering. "Tony, always the charmer," she teased, her eyes dancing with amusement.
Bucky chuckled softly, his arm slipping around Indigo's waist protectively. "Guess we'll have to save that for later," he said, his voice low and teasing.
