Chapter 2

A month later...

Taewoo's POV

In my hands, I had a file and I entered Mr. Bahng's office.

He was sitting on his chair and busy typing something on his laptop.

Oh my gosh, he looked so ethereal when he's focused.

Those brown eyes, his blond dyed hair and his musculine posture.

"Mr. Jeon", he said.

That Aussie acsent of his gets me every time. I am so hopelessly in love with this man! Sometimes I feel like I've fallen too deep.

"Yes, sir?" I replied.

"Can you please call Mr. Yang in here?"

"Yes sir."

I went to the said person's cabin, told him that Mr. Bahng needed to see him and lead him to his office.

When we entered, I stood at the door and Jeongin stood a distance from Mr. Bahng's desk.

"Mr. Yang", he started, "I called you here because I need you to get me the trail balance and recheck the C.C. files from last week."

"Yes, sir."

Mr. Bahng handed a file to him and smiled.

I've noticed that he calls Jeongin into his office a lot more often lately. And he smiles more when he's with or around Jeongin. And the way he looks at Jeongin, he never looked at me that way.

I sometimes begin to wonder what's going on in his mind at times. I wish I could make him smile like that.

But I didn't let it get to my head.

Jeongin bowed and left the office.

I just looked at my boss who sat in front of me and silently admired him.

"Mr. Jeon", he called to me.

I took a few steps towards his desk, "Yes, sir?"

"I need you to schedule a proper time to meet with Mr. Seo this afternoon. Between 4 and 7 pm. That's when he'll be available. And make sure to arrange everything properly. Okay?"

"Yes, sir. I'll add it to your schedule."

"And prepare the contract, please arrange the folder."

"Of course, sir." I quickly left his office and began to make the arrangements for the meeting, obviously still thinking about Mr. Bahng every now and then.

Jeongin's POV

I was sitting in my cabin and checking the file that Mr. Bahng had given me earlier.

"This seems to be in order", I said to myself.

After a few more minutes, I decided to check on Sungmi in her cabin.

"Hey, girl", I said to her.

"Hey, Oppa." She turned around on her office chair to look at me.

Basically, Sungmi and I don't share an office, our offices are just next to each other.

"Sungmi, I keep telling you to stop calling me that. Please. Anyway, how you doin'?"

"Doing really good. Just the nausea and dizziness taking it's tall on me. But the doctor said that it'll become better as I enter the second trimester."

"At least that's good. And how's the baby?"

"Doing amazing. You've been taking really good care of me, so the baby is definitely bound to be okay too."
