Chapter 6

Everybody was gathered around the dining table. The food looked very much apealing to the eye.

Sungmi stuck very close to Jeongin, while being a good friend at most. She kept glancing at Felix and Hyunjin time and time again. She noticed the interactions between the two.

"Babe, Linda says hi", Felix said as he placed his phone down, then with a warm smile clearly meant for Hyunjin.

Then Hyunjin fed Felix some of the fruit salad on his plate. Then Felix pecked him on the cheek.

Right then, it was confirmed to Sungmi that Felix and Hyunjin are a thing. She felt a slight sense of relief... and perhaps a feeling of disappointment? Because either one the two looked fitting enough to be a good boyfriend for her.

Then Felix randomly asked,"So, Jeongin. You still haven't told me why you're here. I know that Channie Hyeong is your boss and all, but..."

"Uh...", Jeongin said,"It's a long story. I d-don't really wanna go into it." He looked down onto his lap.

Sungmi placed a hand on his shoulder as a comforting gesture.

Then Felix just shrugged and they all continued eating...

Later that day...

"I brought some kimchi! Freshly made from the kitchen." Sungmi came through the door and placed the tray of food on the small bedside table as she sat on the bed.

"I could've made some myself-"

Sungmi cut him off, "Nope! You're forgetting that you're still injured."

Jeongin rolled his eyes and said, "But the injury isn't even that serious."

"... But it still hurts, right?" A voice came from the door.

Jeongin just kept silent as he watched Chan walk through the door.

"Let Sungmi help you out a bit. It's her desire." Chan now stood next to the bed. "Besides, you're not going to do any work for the next few days until that writing hand is completely healed."

"Now eat..." Sungmi started feeding Jeongin.

Chan was staring at him in admiration the whole time and his heart fluttered at the cute site of Jeongin eating.

'So cute...'

Some time later...?

Felix came into Chan's room (CHAN'S ROOM) and just randomly asked him: "What's up with you and Jeongin?"

"Excuse me?" Chan asked, his eyes unwavering from the laptop screen.

"Come on, Cuz, I've seen the way you look at him. The way you smile secretly when you see him."

"What do you mean by all that?"

"You're in love. It's as clear as day in my eyes."

" I don't know what you're talking about..."

Felix sighed as he walks over to the bed and sits down. "At times,I feel like you're forgetting that I know that you're gay."

Chan stopped typing and turned around on his swinging chair to look at Felix. "Really? Are you for real right now?"

"I'm as real as hell. Now when are you confessing?" Felix slightly smiles.

"I'm not confessing because I'm not in love."

"Come on. Don't try to hide your true feelings now, aye. Jeongin is sweet. He'll understand. And who knows, maybe he feels the same way?" Felix wiggled his eyebrows.

Chan just exhaled in defeat.

"I'll help you... but when you least expect it. For now, I'm just gonna try and get you two to be friends. Okie?"

"Felix, please-"

"Cuz, just trust me on this. You won't regret it."

'I feel like I already am... '
