Jeongin had decided to keep the baby because he honestly didn't want to get an abortion. But even so, he kept it because he knew that the child was not at fault for whatever happened. Yes, it was Shi-on's baby, but it was just a baby. A pure and innocent life.

Jeongin didn't look at it as a mistake, but as a chance to grow and discover himself.

He began going to therapy, still trying to heal from the incidents of the past weeks. He wasn't okay, that he could admit. He would flinch at every sound, worry when he saw a shadow and his sense of chronophobia grew more prominent. His nightmares were more intense and he'd get more anxious with the sudden panic attacks.

But Chan was with him. He was there to hold his hand, to support him with whatever he needed: accompanying him to the doctor's appointments, hugging him when he needed to sleep, and becoming a listening ear when Jeongin felt lost and alone.

It was a healing process, but hopefully it would yield results.

*1 months later...*

(At Minsung residence...)

"Parenting 101" is what Minho had written on the whiteboard. He stood in front of them Like a lecturer at university with a whiteboard marker in his hand.

"Alright, gentlemen. Welcome to the first lesson of the rest of your lives. Let's start off with you, Chan. Anything you'd like to know?"

"Yeah, like how often does it occur that Jeongin has to vomit early in the morning? It kind of makes me nervous when it happens."

"It happens practically everyday. Morning sickness is nothing you need to worry too much about, I'm sure the doctor told him about that. But if he feels some sort of pain in his stomach, it's either he's super hungry or genuinely in pain. Just always hope for the first one."

"What about food? The doctor said he needed to eat healthier."

"Just follow the diet plan the doctor gave to you. But be careful, this breed can get really emotional even over the smallest things. So whatever he wants, give it to him, and make sure it's exactly the way they want it. Trust me, it's your best chance if you wanna avoid getting hit with a stapler."

"A stapler?" Seungmin raised a brow.

"Believe me when I say it's a long story that you don't wanna know about," Minho said with all seriousness.

"Okay?" Chan brushed it off.

"Moving on." Minho wrote something on the whiteboard. "D-day, the day when your life will take a turn for the better or for the worse. It'll start off really simple: you two are probably sitting together in your room or just chatting in the kitchen, or even at the mall for some apparent reason. And then the pain starts. The room suddenly feels hot or suffocating, and you're panicking, but trust me your partner is more panicked than you are. Seungmin, I'm sure you've had some sort of experience with that type of situation."

Seungmin nodded.

"For men, it's not really accurately estimated when it comes to the delivery date. It could happen at anytime around the ninth month. But when it does happen, then the first thing you'll do is try your best to get them to the hospital as quickly as possible. Don't get scared if he starts shouting at you on the way there or cursing loudly, it's just the pain talking."

"Is this the personal experience you got?" Chan asked.

"Yup! Critical moment of my life. I had to be there for Jisung throughout the whole thing. It wasn't easy, but when our beautiful little baby girl came out, she was the cutest thing I've ever seen. The pride that comes with being a father is something I cherish the most because taking care of a child makes me feel fulfilled. I'm just giving you two advice from my own experience, just letting you know that there will be a lot of ups and downs through the parenting journey, but it's important to show love and care with whatever you do. Alright?"
