Saint observed the truck as it left his garage, then eventually leaving his sight entirely. It would be a lie if he wasn't completely irritated and filled with rage at Liana. He was thankful that Celeste didn't take this entire situation out on him, because he truly couldn't have predicted this was how their day would end.
He left the room, but not before turning off the lights. His mood was dampened and the thunderstorm outside didn't act as an improvement. He returned to the dining room where Sanai once sat. Her half eaten pizza remained on the table, as well as a slightly drunk water bottle.
As he cleaned up the small mess, he spoke his mind, "What the fuck was that?" Saint wasn't one to raise his voice unless absolutely necessary.
Liana scoffed, "You're the last person that should be questioning anybody. You left me sitting at the airport for fucking hours. I texted and called you. I finally got an Uber and you're here with some bitch and her kid."
Saint's actions halted with ease, "When are you going to realize this," Saint pointed between them both, "Isn't fucking real. This relationship is just promotion for the fucking movie. It shouldn't matter who's in the house I paid for. You gone start respecting my daughter bro."
"I've told you multiple times that I wanted something real. Now you're sitting here telling me you have a whole ass daughter, Saint." Liana confessed.
Saint couldn't deny her claim. She had told him on many occasions that she wanted an actual relationship, but Saint declined. Their PR managers kept giving Liana this fake allusion and that wasn't his fault.
But, Saint allowed for her misapprehension to conquer, because he wasn't aware of Celeste and Sanai previously. Now he was going to have to get the information through Liana's thick ass skull.
Saint walked to where she was now standing, "I've told you multiple times I don't want you. I really don't understand what's not clicking for you. I don't even know why you're here right now."
A look of betrayal covered Liana's face. Her brown skin turned a deep red. Saint realized the puzzle had finally connected and she was starting to understand his point.
"Fuck you and that movie, Saint. You're gonna wish you never said that bullshit to me." Liana threatened as she grabbed her purse from the couch. She gave Saint one last dirty look before leaving the house.
The once rowdy home was now quiet again. Only for once, Saint wished his daughter was still here. Instead, she was pushed away by a girl that meant nothing to him.
Today was the most fun Saint had in a while, Sanai and Celeste were to blame for this. Saint was already considering their next adventure and what his daughter would enjoy doing.
Saint reflected on the day from start to finish. From Sanai being interested in his car collection to them grabbing dinner together.
"Fuck." Saint mumbled as he realized what Liana had just done. He just prayed Celeste would be able to trust him around his daughter. He would never put her in harms way intentionally.
