It was a slow Wednesday morning before Kennedy and Raya were knocking on Celeste's door. Celeste knew Raya had a hair appointment today, but she didn't expect them both to arrive at the same time. Now the girls all sat in Celeste's use to be guest room that she turned into a miniature salon.

"Wait, so the bitch just started yelling?" Raya asked as Celeste applied the lace glue around the edges of her forehead.

Celeste continued telling her version of the story, "Raya, literally yes. I'm standing in the kitchen looking dumb as fuck, cause I still don't know whats going on."

"I ain't know that lil acting hoe had that shit in her." Kennedy replied while sipping from her cup. Whether it was juice or alcohol was unknown, and Celeste wasn't going to ask either.

"Once I snapped back and realized my daughter was still here, I got our shit and left. It's one thing for you to be upset that he didn't pick you up, but to stand there cursing and shit while my daughter is here– that's were you started fucking up." Celeste explained with the same amount of anger she had when the interaction happened.

Raya replied, "Ion even know you like that, but she lucky as fuck I wasn't there. It's just some shit you don't do."

Kennedy said, "Nah, for real. I can't even blame him either, and y'all know I love to blame a nigga for something. It's the fact that he didn't even know she was coming."

"Right, that's what I was thinking. As much as I want to blame him, it wasn't even his fault in the slightest. Could he have closed the door in her fucking face? Yeah, but he ain't the disrespectful type at all." Celeste reasoned, meanwhile Raya remained sitting in the chair as Celeste laid the wig down.

"I can't believe all this happened the first time he spent time with his daughter." Kennedy added, which the other two girls agreed with the claim.

Celeste quickly changed the topic, "Imma leave this band on for a minute then style it." Raya nodded her head and left the uncomfortable chair she just spent the last hour in.

Celeste continued on, "He invited us over for dinner with his family on Sunday. I didn't even reply back to the message– I don't know if Nai is ready for all that."

Each girl thought about their reply for a second– Kennedy spoke first, "She has to do it eventually. This might be good for her and even better for you. Use this as a chance to get a better scope of his family."

Raya nodded, "I was finna say the same shit. Have y'all told Sanai yet?"

Celeste shook her head in a no motion, "We haven't. I guess we're just waiting on the paternity results, even though we already know what the shit is gonna say."

"He still hasn't gotten that back, I swear it's been long enough." Kennedy replied while she typed on her macbook.

"They should be in the mail sometime this week. I think I'm just going to sit Nai down and tell her straight. I don't want her to be confused."
