Saint sat in the farthest row of the school house directly beside Celeste. The small classroom filled with more and more parents that were there to support their children during the show and tell. Saint was overly excited considering this was his first father school event.

His eyes scanned around the brightly colored room. The alphabet framed the upper boarder of the class. He even saw the children sized lockers. He found Sanai's, hers was covered in rainbow stickers. The classroom reeked of nostalgia and childhood memories. For a second, Saint wished to be a child with no responsibilities and huge aspirations again.

Saint's career didn't turn out as planned, if you asked elementary Saint what his future career would be, he would've answered doctor with zero hesitation. He was born with a natural desire to influence the lives of others— and he's doing that, but not the way he expected.

"Where's Nai?" He asked Celeste, and she shrugged her shoulders. Celeste replied, "I'm not sure. Maybe they're still gathering all the students."

"They need to speed it up, I'm ready to hear my daughter's presentation." Saint said truthfully as he tapped his foot impatiently. Celeste on the other hand was cool, calm, and collected.

She said, "Saint, calm down. She's right there." Saint's eyes landed on the classroom door as all the kindergarten students were lined up in a straight line. Saint searched for Sanai and when he saw her, he waved until she noticed him.

When Sanai did, she waved back and smiled. The father-daughter duo had many cute moments lately.

As the students lined up in front of the class, he heard Celeste speaking. Turning his attention to the right, he saw another set of parents sit beside her.

"Girl, that traffic is terrible." A hispanic lady said as she removed her sunglasses.

Celeste emphasized the remark, "I know, I had to park all the way in the back."

"Oh! This is my husband, Julio." The lady introduced, urging Celeste to do the same.

"This is Saint, Sanai's dad." Saint provided a small smile as the lady and her husband started to recognize him. He liked that they didn't bombard him with questions, pictures, or weird stares.

Once the talk was over, Celeste gave Saint more background information of the parents beside them.

"Sanai is basically best friends with this boy, Noah. That's his parents." Celeste whispered in Saint's ear.

"Good morning, parents! I would first like to welcome you all to my classroom, again. A ton of learning, mistake making, and fun happens in here! I am pleased to be your child's kindergarten teacher and I hope I've impacted them greatly within our first month together. As you all have been so patiently waiting for, here's Miss. Claire's 2024 Show and Tell."

Saint never met the instructor before, but he could automatically tell she talked too much. The students were probably sick of hearing her high pitched voice already, because he was.
