Joost and Aggu would shift between who would perform last depending on which country we were in. Aggu got to perform last in: Austria, Germany, and Ireland. While Joost got to perform last in: Belgium, The Netherlands, France, and England.

I had a perfect view of the stage from the balcony where I stood with Aggu, ready to see Joost start the tour off with his performance.

A loud clock started as some music began: "VIENNA! HELLO!" Joost yelled but was still not seen on stage yet.

It was only Teun and Dylan who stood there very still. They just stared into the crowd while this almost church music played.

"Wie ben jij?" Joost yelled as he walked on stage with loud steps to the music.

The whole crowd started singing with him. Was this like a song you were supposed to know or what because why did people in Vienna know the lyrics of a Dutch man?

Joost had changed into a basic white button up with a black tie and black bell bottoms. He looked like someone who was on his way to work in a 5-story building where he sat on his ass all day.

"SUCK MY DICK BITCH!" He then yelled repeatedly with the music. Teun and Dylan started jumping around to the music while the first of many mosh pits were happening tonight.

"Suck my dick bitch" Aggu even knew the lyrics, but the chorus was also quite easy since it was the same sentence repeatedly.

Joost sucked in all the attention he was getting and really letting it get to his head. He was so cocky with it as he kept on saying how much he loved it when they sang the chorus to him. Joost enjoyed being on that stage as he rapped and sang a few times. It was a little bit cool to see how much he got the crowd moving even though they spoke another language.

He had the perfect stage persona as he got the crowd to move with him. He danced and even did a cover of Crazy frog where he went absolutely insane. He fucked a speaker at one point, and I heard a girl next to me say she wished she were the speaker.

I almost threw up as she said that.

Even though Joost was the centre of attention, the songs that I loved most were where Dylan got to let his guitar be heard. He rocked that so hard, and I was vibing a lot, but then Joost's voice would be heard, and the moment would be ruined.

The ending was, however, what got it over the top. Joost got a Friesland flag out and put it over his head as he sat on top of a bed. He started talking about all the emotional shit and I couldn't take it seriously.

I hated it when artists would let that side of them show because it was rarely ever that I resonated with it. All that excitement that had been built up just for someone to start crying in front of a crowd to be seen as someone who is relatable, ruins it for me.

I generally don't like to see other people in that vulnerable state, so to see a whole room in that stage was too much for me. Joost used his past to touch people with his story but most of the time it felt off, like it wasn't genuine.

Or maybe I just didn't see what other people saw in him?

I left as he started doing his last song "Florida 2009". I went down from the balcony to get ready for Aggu's show. I chatted up with the lights men while making sure that every last detail was corrected from earlier.

Joost had already gone off stage when I returned to the dressing room. They were all sweaty while talking with a few people that had shown up. I leaned on the door frame while watching them.

Joost was talking with this brunette girl while his front was facing me. His eyes then shifted over at me while the girl kept on talking to him. He then apologised to her and walked towards me.
