The club was packed to the brim with random people. All I saw was strangers' faces but none of them was his. I wanted desperately just to love and care for him like I used to.
I had worn a mid-thigh skirt but paired it with high boots, so I wasn't as exposed. I had a loose long sleeve that opened in the back to show a little off to the imagination. It was the least covered I had been on this whole tour, but I was done being the second choice. I wanted someone to desperately want me, even if it was for my body tonight.
I looked back at the table we had gotten as a group. Joost and Pieter were chatting as usual while disgustingly looking towards me. Every time I was near any of them, they would turn into teenage girls who couldn't stop gossiping. I felt nothing but unwanted in their company, so I let myself scout the dance floor with Aggu.
I turned my attention back to the dance floor where Aggu used to be, but his tongue was soon down some girl's throat. I knew from the minute we stepped in here that it would happen. I would be left for Aggu to go fuck some girl. Tonight, I wished it was the other way for once.
I searched for any slightly interesting looking person. I found no one in the huge crowd of people. None of these silly geese could live up to my expectations that I set for someone.
Or maybe I just needed to drink more so people would automatically become more attractive.
I let Aggu know that I was headed towards the bar, but he ended up coming with me, and the girl followed along. She was very gorgeous so I couldn't blame him for making out with her.
Aggu was kind enough to give us both drinks. Mostly because when a man ordered drinks from a bartender then there was a lower risk for them to put anything in it. Clubbing was dangerous no matter what you did, and you never knew if you were safe, so it was always smarter to just be aware of these things.
We took the drinks back to the table. I would have insisted on sitting next to Aggu, but that seat was taken by the pretty blond girl. I ended up sitting next to a Joost who from the start made sure that I wasn't welcome by taking up all the space.
"Get over it" I rolled my eyes at him and threw his feet down from the couch.
"So, I think we should play a drinking game" Aggu wiggled his eyebrows around the table trying to hype the mood up.
I was so excited for this night, and it all was ruined. I hated men so much, always fucking up my life even if they never intended to.
Since none of us said anything Aggu took that as a yes. He suggested that we play a shot game in which the rules were that if you couldn't answer a question or go through with a dare then you had to take a shot. You had to take two shots if you were not able to do the thing within a 1-minute time limit. You also got three punishment shots if you pulled out your phone.
I was the first one to get asked as it went with the clock. Everyone had the opportunity to go through with a question or dare that I had to do.
"What is your most embarrassing moment?" Blondie asked me.
"Of the top of my head it happened about 1 hour ago: I tried hitting on my ex-boyfriend but then found out he had a girlfriend" I answered quickly.
"Woaw, not even he wants you" Joost chuckled to himself, but Pieter joined in. I couldn't even bother giving him a reaction, so I ignored him.
"You didn't know?" Aggu questioned.
"No? Did you?" I leaned forward.
"Yeah of course. He constantly posts about her" Aggu said as if it was common knowledge.
