Miyuki's POV

At Urokodaki-San's house, I step out of my room adorned in my new outfit: a literal red kimono. I huff, throwing a black coat over it.

A/N: Yup, you read that I have decided that Miyuki is rocking a kimono, no matter what you or Miyuki think about it! Fighting demons in a kimono? Sure, why not! Difficult? Deal with it

"They might as well just hand me a 'Mission: Impossible' script and say, 'Good luck dodging demons in that kimono!'" I grumble as I saunter into the living room.

There I see Tanjirou was getting changed into his Demon Slayer Corps uniform.

"Nee-San, that's your uniform?" Tanjiro asked, his eyes wide with disbelief. I immediately wrapped him in a dramatic hug. "Tanjiro~~~ I think the Demon Corps wants me dead! I'm practically a walking target in this thing!"

"Have you gotten changed?" Our master asks and I pull away.

"Yeah~~~" I drag, not really feeling the uniform. "Yes," Tanjirou replies, straight and to the point. "All right," Urokodaki-San nods approvingly.

Nezuko peeks in, curious about the commotion. Both Tanjirou and I are preparing to head out. Urokodaki clears his throat, drawing our attention.

"Miyuki, Tanjirou. Now that you're starting out with the Demon Slayer Corps, I'd like to explain a few things to you."

Tanjirou adjusts his uniform, listening intently.

"The uniform has defensive properties that can protect you from sharp objects and extreme temperatures," Urokodaki explains.

"Your katana can change color depending on the one wielding it, with each color having special properties. A black blade, however, is unusual, so we don't know what it can do."

I glance at my own katana anxiously. "And mine doesn't even have a color,"

"One more thing. Take this," Urokodaki-San places a wooden box in front of us. "It's a box for you to carry your sister in during the day, built out of an extremely light wood called 'Cloud Mist Pine.'"

Tanjirou looks at the box, his eyes softening. Master Urokodaki continues, "This sturdy and lightweight box will allow Nezuko to fit inside. From now on, you'll always be together."

"Nezuko, come on," Tanjirou calls gently, placing the box in front of her. She was hiding under the covers, reluctant.

"Nezuko. Get inside this, will you?" Tanjiro asks, coaxing. I pat Nezuko's head, offering her a reassuring smile. "Can you do it?" I ask softly.

Nezuko hesitates but eventually nods. She tries going into the box, her movements tentative. Finally, she fits inside. "See, not so bad," I say, trying to lighten the mood.

Tanjiro secures the box on his back, ensuring Nezuko is comfortable. "Thank you, Urokodaki-San" he says, bowing deeply and I followed, of course he did so much for us.
