Miyuki's POV

As I was about to leave Kagaya's room until, he gently stopped me calling out my name softly. "Miyuki-sama, can I ask you something?"

"Hm...? What's with the sudden formality?" I turned back to him, "Can you....." a smile formed on my face at his request. "Of course," I replied softly.

I left the Ubuyashiki and it took a real long time to come back to the Butterfly Mansion. When I entered, I found Tanjiro eating some snacks with Gotou. "Nee-san!" Tanjiro's face brightened upon seeing me.

I smiled and ruffled his hair. "I heard you were taken to the Ubuyashiki mansion?" he asked curiously.

I nodded, downplaying the significance. "It was nothing. He just wanted to know about Nezuko walking in the sun," I said, keeping the details of the Hashira meeting confidential.

"So, where's Nezuko?" I asked, looking around. "And where are the triplets, and Aoi?"

Tanjiro explained, "Since no one needs medical attention right now, they've been spending time playing with Nezuko. They've also been teaching her to speak again."

As we continued talking, the hospital room door opened, revealing Haganezuka. He walked toward Tanjiro's bed, uncharacteristically quiet and panting heavily.

"Oh! Haganezuka-San!" Tanjiro greeted him with a smile, but then quickly grew concerned. "Are your injuries okay?"

"I... Ha... Ha... I'm okay!" Haganezuka breathed heavily, clearly in pain. "You don't look okay!" Tanjiro said, sweat-dropping.

Haganezuka held out a sword for Tanjiro and me. "Waaahhh!! Finally! It feels like it's been years since I held a sword in my hand," I exclaimed, taking the sword.

"Oh... Ah! It's Rengoku's sword guard!" Tanjiro marveled at the tsuba installed on the blade, tears welling up as he thanked Haganezuka for saving Kotetsu.

"Please have a seat, Haganezuka. Are you all right?" I asked, standing up and offering my chair. Haganezuka attempted to tell Tanjiro to look at the blade, but he was struggling to speak.

"Do you mean the blade? Okay, I'll look at it!" Tanjiro said, understanding his intent. We both unsheathed the sword.

"Wow~~ this is crazy. Did you try to mimic the 300-year-old sword?" I asked, admiring the unique pattern similar to Tanjiro's. I smiled at Haganezuka. "You did a good job."

"Amazing. The depth of the black color is different," Tanjiro remarked, noting the high quality of the steel.

"The swordsmith who forged it had one goal: to slay all demons. He didn't engrave his name or anything but just a single character." Haganezuka-San elaborated.

"But... I don't think there was anything engraved on it when I used it in the last battle," Tanjiro said, puzzled.

"Tsk... That's because I had only sharpened it up to the first stage, and you guys took it from me. I hadn't cleaned the rust off! Do you want me to kill you?!" Haganezuka angrily explained, wincing from his wounds.

"I see," Tanjiro said, slightly embarrassed.

"It hurts so much, it's unbearable!" Haganezuka pulled on Tanjiro's cheek while ranting about having to start over.

"Now, now, calm down," I interjected, grabbing his shoulder to steady him. "I'll start on your suzu. Give me a lock of your hair."

Gotou turned to me, somewhat taken aback, but I was already cutting a small piece of my hair with my sword. "Wait Miyuki-Sama, is that fine?" Gotou asked startled.
