Miyuki's POV

The next day, I woke up to my room, the brightest in the house cloaked in darkness. I rubbed my eyes, trying to wake myself us.

As I sat up, I realized I had spent the night sleeping on Muzan's chest. He was already awake, his gaze fixed on me. "Did you sleep well?" Muzan asked, his fingers gently caressing my cheeks.

I nodded, still groggy. "Why are the curtains up? Is it not morning yet?"

"It's already noon," he replied.

I moved to get up and remove the curtains, but Muzan's hand shot out, gripping my wrist surprisingly tight. I looked back at him, startled.

"The sun is my weakness," he said, his expression serious.  "Oh," I breathed, realization dawning on me. "Oh!"

"I know what's running in your head." Muzan chuckled, leaning in to kiss my cheek. "The Ubuyashiki family already know about it," he explained.

"Oh...." I said again, feeling a bit foolish.

"Get ready," Muzan instructed. "We'll be leaving soon."

Time Skip~~~~~

This was my final time with my father and friends, and the reality of my new life was sinking in fast.

That late evening, after the sun had set, I stood outside my house, bidding farewell to my father and friends. Muzan waited nearby in a high-end, expensive ox-drawn carriage.

"It's time to leave, wife," he called out, extending his hand to me. I turned to my father, tears welling up in my eyes. "I will miss you," I said, hugging him tightly.

Muzan, watching my emotional display, deadpanned. "I will come and visit you," I promised my father.

Having had enough, Muzan grabbed my wrist gently but firmly, pulling me towards the carriage. "Wife, we'll be late if this continues."

He pulled me inside the carriage, and I leaned out the window, tears streaming down my face. "I'll write letters!" I called out tearfully.

My maids and father waved goodbye, their expressions melancholic. As the carriage began to move, Muzan sighed, watching them with mild annoyance.

"Why are you all acting as if they married you off to a monster?" he asked. I looked at him, my eyes still glistening with tears silently saying, "You are a demon,"

He smirked amused. "True, but I'm also your husband now. It's time to accept that."

As the carriage moved forward, I looked out the window, watching the familiar lit-up streets of my town turn into unfamiliar paths.

'I don't know this place.'

The realization hit me hard-we were already out of my town, leaving everything I knew behind. "Miyuki," Muzan's voice broke through my thoughts.

"What do you think about becoming a demon? I've never tried it with anyone before, but with you, I think I might be able to---" He stopped, his eyes widening in surprise as he looked at me.

Tears poured down my cheeks instantly. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, my heart aching with the internal conflict.

'I'm already committing a grave sin by marrying you, and now you want me to become the ultimate abomination against my very nature?'

"Do you despise the idea that much?" Muzan asked, his voice unexpectedly gentle. "You only need to say no."

He reached out to wipe my cheeks, but I slapped his hand away. "If you ask me that again, I WILL KILL MYSELF!" I said firmly, my lips trembling.
