Miyuki's POV

Sometime later, outside the Tsuzumi Mansion, Inosuke lay on Tanjirou's folded haori, covered by Zenitsu's haori. "Ahhh!! Ahhhh!" He eventually woke up with a start, yelling.

Zenitsu yelped, "Ahh!! He's awake!" as Inosuke immediately jumped up and started screaming, chasing Zenitsu around.

"Fight me! Fight me!" Inosuke yelled, challenging Zenitsu to a fight.

"This is how he is when he wakes up?! I hate that more than anything! Waaahhh! Save me," Zenitsu cried, hiding behind me once more.

"Stop it, idiot, this is not the time," I said firmly. Inosuke halted in his tracks.

Tanjirou, Kiyoshi, and Shouichi were busy burying a body nearby. "What the hell are you guys doing?!" Inosuke demanded.

"It's a burial," Zenitsu explained, looking confused at Inosuke's reaction. "You brat should help too. There are still people who were killed inside the house," I added.

Inosuke scoffed, "What's the point of burying the corpses of creatures? I'm not doing that! I'm not helping out! Forget that! Fight me!"

"Man, he really is a loon. What does he mean, what's the point?" Zenitsu deadpanned.

"I see. You can't do it because your wounds are hurting you," Tanjirou said, thinking Inosuke's injuries were the reason for his reluctance.

"What?! Don't underestimate me, dammit! I'll bury a hundred, no, two hundred of your corpses!" Inosuke's pride was clearly stung. "Just watch! I'm going to bury more than any one of you!"

"Those two are beyond help!" Zenitsu sighed.

I smiled blankly, my energy for the day already drained. "Zenitsu and these kids and I will do our best, so don't worry! Sorry to ask so much of you," Tanjirou said honestly.

"I'll show you! I'm the best at burying people!" Inosuke, fired up by Tanjirou's words, joined in the burial efforts.

Sometime later, in the late afternoon, outside the Tsuzumi Mansion, Tanjirou, Zenitsu, Kiyoshi, Shouichi, and Teruko prayed over the dead bodies.

In the background, Inosuke was headbutting a tree repeatedly. "What is that person doing?" Teruko asked, puzzled.

Kiyoshi, sweat-dropping, replied, "Better not look." Zenitsu, still hiding behind me, watched Inosuke with wide eyes. "Is he trying to knock himself out again?"

"It seems like it." I sighed, rubbing my temples. Inosuke paused, panting heavily, and looked at Tanjirou. "You think you're so smart, huh? Fine. But I'm still the strongest!"

"I don't think we'll ever understand him." Zenitsu shook his head. "We don't need to understand everything," I said, patting Zenitsu's back.

Then suddenly, my eagle arrived and dropped a bag into my hands. "Uniform," he said at the same time Tanjirou's kasugai crow appeared.

"Caw~! Caw~! Descend the mountain! Descend the mountain! Caw~!" the crow called out. "That crow is talking!" Shuichiro yelped.

Kiyoshi, the older brother, sweat-dropped and said, "Just don't think about i anymore."

The younger siblings nodded, "Okay."

"All right, follow me! Follow yours truly! Caw~! Caw~!" the crow replied, leading the way. "Come on, let's go,"  I grabbed Inosuke's mask and dragged him along.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Inosuke asked as I dragged him away. "We're descending the mountain," I replied.

Inosuke's eyes lit up, and he took off running. "Beat me to it!" he challenged, racing down the mountain.
