Miyuki's POV

In the aftermath of the battle, the residents of the Swordsmith Village started picking up the pieces and rebuilding.

Meanwhile, here I was, in my grand dress, lounging inside the cart and munching on the popular dango Kotetsu and I had just picked up a few minutes ago.

I couldn't seem to get rid of the dress I awakened in....

Kotetsu and Kanamori, pushing the cart with Tanjiro, Nezuko, and me, approached Lord Tecchin. "Lord Tecchin!" Kotetsu greeted him with a big, cheerful wave.

"Oh, Kotetsu!" Tecchin replied with a smile, his eyes moving to us. I waved back, even though my fingers were practically frozen.

"We're heading out, so we wanted to say goodbye," I said, shaking my brother lightly. Tanjiro sat up, still looking a bit dazed and confused, like he'd just woken up from a very long nap.

"Are you feeling all right?" Tecchin asked concerned.

I grinned and said, "Nope, I can barely feel my fingers!" This caused Tecchin to break into a sweatdrop, clearly unsure if I was joking or not.

Tanjiro, ever the polite one, chimed in, "Yes! Thank you for everything you've done for us."

"No, it is I who should be thanking you." Tecchin shook his head.

"I'll bless the land next time," I said, waving off his thanks. "And speaking of right, where's your sister?" Tecchin glanced around, searching for Nezuko.

"She's asleep. I really wore her out," I said, patting the box where Nezuko was resting snugly. "I'm glad to hear she's safe." Tecchin sighed in.

As we chatted, Tecchin's eyes caught sight of Haganezuka peeking out from behind a wall. "Hey, Kanamori, is that Hotaru skulking over there?" he asked.

"What's he up to?" I asked, curiosity piqued.

Kanamori sighed dramatically, "Oh, he's sulking because Tanjiro-dono used the unfinished blade."

"Isn't that just adorable..." I couldn't help but chuckle. "What am I going to do with that guy? Hotaru! Come over here!" Tecchin shook his head, exasperated.

Reluctantly, Haganezuka shuffled over, glaring at Tanjiro with an accusatory finger. "I'm telling you, it's all his fault!" he declared, jabbing Tanjiro's face repeatedly. "Right?! Am I right?!"

"But if Tanjiro and the others hadn't shown up, the village might have been completely destroyed!" Kotetsu pointed out, causing Haganezuka's anger to soften just a bit.

"Now, Hotaru," Tecchin interjected, trying to calm the situation, "the real reason you came here was to speak to Tanjiro, who traveled all this way, correct?"

Haganezuka eventually sighs and relents.

"Fine, I'll make you two a new blade. And I'll do my best on your Kagura Suzu," he grumbles, though there's a hint of pride in his voice. "Just wait at the Butterfly Mansion."

A/N: Tanjiro broke Miyuki's sword.

"Thank you very much!" Tanjiro responds, his gratitude clearly showing.

Feeling a bit mischievous, I pull Haganezuka down and lift his mask, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"I'll be looking forward to it," I whisper, delighting in the red flush that spreads across his cheeks.

Tanjiro stares at me in disbelief, "Can you please stop doing that?" I giggle, "Tee-Hee, he was totally my type."

Haganezuka stammers, "S-S-Sure..."
