Miyuki's POV

"A new mission, a new mission!" The next morning Tanjirou's crow squawked, causing all of us to comically gasp. "But you just told us to rest yesterday," Tanjirou protested exasperation.

My eagle, perched on my shoulder, watched the scene unfold. "No, it's only for Miyuki Amaterasu..." the crow clarified.

I sweatdropped, reaching out to grab its beak shut. "Call me Miyuki only" I corrected. "There's a town just 450 miles from here, and you're the only one nearby," the crow continued.

'450!!! Are you fucking kidding me!!'

I nodded in understanding. "Nee-San, are you sure?" Tanjirou asked concerned.

I got up and began changing into my Muzan-proof uniform. "Hey, let me come! I said let me come!" Inosuke pestered, his persistence never-ending.

Without hesitation, I kicked him in the balls. No matter how strong a man is, that place is always a weak spot. I learned it from kicking Muzan from the past.

"Stay down and rest," I said softly, though my actions were anything but gentle. "You're hurt," Tanjirou said, worry lacing his tone as I removed my robes.

Zenitsu blushed, quickly looking away, while Inosuke was too much in pain to do anything. "I'll be fine," I assured them.

I was the only one who had sustained the least amount of wounds and felt it was my responsibility to go. "But--" Tanjirou began, but I silenced him by putting my finger on his lips.

"I'm the "Nee-San" here, okay?" I said firmly. He whined but reluctantly nodded. "Good boy. I'll be seeing you," I said, giving him a reassuring smile before turning to leave.

Inosuke, recovering slightly, grumbled, "You better not have all the fun without us!" I laughed, "Oh, don't worry. I'll bring souvenirs for you."

With that, I set off on my mission, ready to face whatever awaited me in that distant town.  After a long and tiring journey, I finally reached the village.

"Wow! I can't believe I ran for 14 hours straight." The place had an eerie stillness about it, as if the very air was holding its breath.

I wasted no time and started asking around about anything weird or mysterious things happening recently and they tell me about kids disappearances.

An elderly man with a wrinkled face said. "Mostly teenagers get lost," he said solemnly. "We give them warnings, but they don't listen. It's almost as if they're drawn to something."

"What kind of warnings?" I furrowed my brow.

He sighed deeply. "It started with the act of killing cats and dumping their corpses. Sounds terrifying, but they weren't harmed."

"On the contrary, it piqued the curiosity of the teenagers to uncover who was behind it." Another villager chimed in, "If you ask me, it seems like someone is deliberately trying to draw the kids to themselves."

"It does sound like a trap. Did anyone see anything suspicious before the disappearances?" I nodded thoughtfully.

They all shook their heads. "No one saw anything," the elder replied. "It's like the culprit is a ghost." Determined to find answers, I spent the next few days investigating.

I talked to more villagers, combed through the areas where the teens were last seen, and searched for any signs of a demon. But there was nothing.

"I'm practically a teenager over here! Come and get me already, damn it!" There wasn't a demon in sight, not even a hint of one.
