Lando had a big surprise planned for me the next day. He managed to get me to let him brush my teeth that morning and then he took me out. I actually had no idea where but then I realised. He was taking me to the orthodontist to finally get braces!!!

"No way..." I said outside of the building.

"Yes way. I told you, I'm all about making your dreams come true. And if that means getting you braces to fix your smile, then so be it" he said as he squeezed my hand.

"i love you so much oh my god" i said and he kissed my cheek

"I love you too, baby girl. Now let's go see if we can get those braces today" he said. We went in and they actually put my braces on in the same day. I let Lando choose the colour.

"You can choose the colour, Lan" I said while giving him the palette which had the colours on it.

"How about blue? It's your favourite colour, right?"

"How did you remember that...?"

"I pay attention to the little things, darling" he said. I got the colours put on and I finally went out in public without my mask on. I finally had the confidence to smile in public. I actually couldn't stop smiling

"You look absolutely stunning, baby girl. I knew those braces would make you even more beautiful" he said while holding my waist.

"my teeth will finally be fixed" I said with happy tears filling my eyes which Lando wiped away

"Awww, sweetheart. That's all I've ever wanted for you. To see you smile with confidence and pride. Trust me when I say, you'll look even more amazing when those braces come off and you show off your perfectly straight teeth"

"I've literally been waiting for this day for ages... and you know what else...? I've not been vaping as much lately and I'm completely done" I said and I threw my vape in the ocean right next to the orthodontist.

"That's incredible, baby girl! I'm so proud of you for quitting vaping. It's not easy, but you did it. And now that those braces are on, there's no going back. You're officially smoke-free and vape-free"

"as long as I've got you, I think I'm gonna be okay"

"I'll always be here for you, no matter what. You don't have to worry about anything anymore. We're in this together, sweetheart"

"should we go shopping then? i know you like to shop in Zara and there's a massive Zara store upstairs in the shopping centre"

"Absolutely, let's go! I could use some new clothes too. Plus, it'll be a great way to celebrate your braces and your decision to quit vaping"

"I also wanna go to Superdrug and Boots to get some new makeup if that's alright?"

"Of course, honey. You can buy as much makeup as you want. Just remember, I think you look beautiful just the way you are"

"Oh and I wanna go to Primark and I know I can basically live off your money because you're rich and you can get me designer shit but like that store kinda feels like home because I've bought so much stuff there before" I said which made Lando laugh slightly. I don't think he had ever walked into a Primark before but he was willing to for me.

"Alright, baby girl. We'll definitely go to Primark. I know how much you love that place. And don't worry about the money, we've got plenty of that" he said. I couldn't help but smile and kiss him softly.

"First, let's go to Zara and get you some new clothes. I know how much you've been dying to go into the big one we have here"

"You've got yourself a deal, my dear. Let's go shopping!" He said as he held my hand. When we got into the shopping centre he was constantly looking at me while I was uncontrollably smiling.
