a month later...

We moved all our stuff in and I finally got a job. I know. I got a modelling job after lots of convincing by Lando. It was only a small shoot for some lingerie. Lando took me down to London for the photoshoot. We knew other models would be there but we weren't expecting his ex to be there. Luisa Oliveira. She was the last person I expected to see. I knew they ended on decent terms but Lando just did not want to see her there. He was so protective over me. He constantly had his arms around me. I always had the fear that we would break up in the same way that they did. The hate getting too much for her. Me and Lando stayed in my dressing room for a bit and I was zoned out for so long. All I could think about was Luisa.

"Lex? You okay, sweetheart? You look like you're about to throw up" he said as he got down on his knees in front of me.

"What if it happens to us...?" I said. He was really confused about what I meant.

"What do you mean? What if what happens to us?"

"What if I go the same way Luisa went...?"

"Oh, sweetheart... I promise you, Lexi. No matter what kind of fame or attention comes our way, we'll face it together. And if anyone tries to come between us or hurt you, they'll have to go through me first. I won't let it get to you"

"But why didn't you fight for Luisa like that? you guys loved each other so much when you were together. why are you willing to fight more for me than when you were with her?"

"Luisa and I loved each other deeply, there's no denying that. But the circumstances of our relationship were toxic at some points because of the hate. She was always worried about what people would think or say about us, and it made her insecure. She couldn't handle it so we mutually decided to call it off"

"But what if that happens to me...?"

"I won't let it happen to you, Lexi. I promise. I'll do everything in my power to protect you from anyone who tries to hurt you or make you feel insecure" he said. I nodded and he pulled down my bottom lip so he could see my braces. He knew that I would blush when he did that. He stood up and pulled me up with him and kissed me. I needed that kiss.

The photoshoot went better than I ever imagined. I was fucking freezing though. I literally ran off the shoot when we finished and I went back to my dressing room. I knew how to piss Lando off. I had some Enchanté merch from Danny and I knew it would piss him off if I wore it. Don't get me wrong; he loves Danny. But when his own girlfriend is wearing another driver's merch it's insane.

"What do you think you're wearing?" He said as he walked into my dressing room.

"Clothes?"

"You know what you're doing. Are you trying to make me jealous?"

"Doing what?"

"Take it off."

"Why? It's just a jumper"

"I said take it off."

"I'm not gonna take off a good piece of clothing"

"I'll rip it off then"

"Do it. Rip it off." I said. And within seconds he tore my jumper in half and pulled it off me which left me in my black bralette.

"You are to never wear another driver's merch again. Even if it's one of my best friend's merch, do you understand?"

"I love seeing you get all jealous" I said as I reached over to grab an LN4 hoodie which was the bright fluorescent green/yellow with the black LN4 logo hoodie. His face instantly lit up as he saw me in it. It was oversized too

"That's better. All mine" he mumbled into my neck as he held me close.

We went around London for the day and it was honestly so fun but my day instantly got ruined when I was on the way back to the car and Lando noticed something peeking out of my back jeans pocket. A packet of weed I found on the floor when he wasn't looking.

"What's this, love?" He said while holding the bag of weed. I turned around and I was honestly terrified.

"oh shit"

"What's this doing in your pocket?"

"I don't know..." I said. I was completely avoiding eye contact and he knew I was lying

"Look, love. I know you've been through a lot and are dealing with your own struggles. But we need to talk about this"

"please don't get mad at me..."

"I'm not mad, but we need to address this, okay? Where did you get this?"

"I don't know... I found it..."

"Alright. We'll talk about this when we get home. Lets go" he said as he put the bag back in my pocket. The whole 3 hours I spent having anxiety twitches. I nearly passed out. I was not looking forward to the conversation we were gonna have at home...
