I went and got us breakfast a few days after. I also got myself some more weed but that wasn't important. I walked back to my dorm and saw Lando uncontrollably smiling.

"What's made you so happy?" I said

"We finally got the house!!!!" He said. I couldn't believe it. We finally got the house.

"we what???!!! we got the house???!!! oh my god!!!"

"Yes, we did! I'm so happy for us, Lex. This is just the beginning of our new life together"

"it really is... so, when can we start moving in? I know you've gotta go over to Monaco and pack up your apartment so you can ship all your stuff over here"

"Well we can start moving in a couple weeks. I'll be going to Monaco then. I'll start packing up my stuff there and have it shipped over to us as soon as possible"

"as long as it's during the summer break because it's gonna be a pain if we start moving in when the F1 season is back on"

"Yeah, I don't want to have to worry about packing up and moving during the season. It'll be a pain, for sure. We'll just focus on making it happen before then"

"I just can't believe we actually got the house..."

"Me neither. It's still a bit surreal, honestly. But it's ours now, and we can make it into whatever we want. I think that's part of what makes it so exciting"

We started moving in after a couple weeks. Lando's stuff arrived and that's when we moved in. My stuff was incredibly easy to pack up but it was incredibly sad. I had lived in my dorm room for 3 years and I hadn't seen it empty in so long.

"feels weird seeing this dorm room all empty... last time I saw it empty was about 3 years ago when I first came to uni"

"I know, right? But it's also kind of exciting. Our first home together! We can start fresh and make new memories here"

"Indeed we can... okay... last time we're ever gonna be in this room..."

"Alright, let's get on our way to the new place. I can't wait to see how it looks with both of our stuff in there"

"It's gonna be perfect. okay... let's go..."

"It's going to be amazing. I just know it. Let's make some new memories in our new home, baby"

"We've gotta get a massive bed too. I'm thinking a king size so we have enough space for... activities if you know what I mean"

"Oh, you mean so we can roll around together without bumping into each other? Or maybe so we can snuggle up under the covers on those cold winter nights?"

"or we could fuck until we're both out of breath"

"Or we could do all of that and more. But for now, let's focus on getting to our new home and seeing what it has in store for us. We can always go shopping for a bed afterward"

"all I know is that we've gotta get a bed today or we're sleeping on the floor"

"Fine, fine. We'll make it our first stop. But no sex tonight. Let's have the bed be nice for at least one night"

I nodded. We knew we had to keep the bed nice for at least one night. We got the bed in and then we crashed for the night. We needed to sleep after such a long day.
