If you don't know now you do, and Ren actually called Doc his husband in the Skizz video I watched, so, that is my motive for this one

Also, also, isn't that lil' comic funny? Doc mentioned it in his video

In the desolate expanse of the dead biome, Ren's base stood as a stark contrast to the vibrant, bustling world beyond. The dark, withered trees and the lifeless ground gave the area an eerie, forlorn atmosphere, fitting the solemn mood of its occupant. Ren, a proud employee of Gigacorp, had chosen this place as his retreat, far from the prying eyes of the other Hermits.

One afternoon, Ren was tending to his mechanical projects when Skizz arrived, his expression serious and determined. Ren greeted him with a wary smile, sensing the gravity of the visit.

"Ren, we need to talk," Skizz began, stepping into the dimly lit workshop. "I need to know what you saw at Cleo's base."

Ren's smile faltered. He knew this moment was coming. "Skizz, I didn't see anything. I was just... there."

Skizz narrowed his eyes. "You were right there, Ren. You saw what happened, didn't you?"Ren turned away, focusing on a half-finished contraption. "I didn't see anything. Doc and I were just visiting Cleo. I got distracted."

"Ren, you know that's not true," Skizz pressed. "I need you to testify. Cleo deserves justice."

Ren clenched his fists, the metal parts in his hands creaking under the pressure. "I'm sorry, Skizz. I can't help you."

Skizz sighed, frustrated but not surprised. "Fine. But remember, this isn't just about Cleo. It's about doing the right thing."

The day of the trial arrived, and the atmosphere in the courtroom was tense. Bdubs, sitting as the judge, looked particularly regal, relishing his title of "Your Highness." The room was filled with Hermits, all whispering among themselves about the upcoming trial.

Skizz and Joe stood on opposite sides, representing Cleo and Doc respectively. Ren sat among the spectators, feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on him. When Skizz called him to the stand, Ren's heart raced.

"Ren, please tell the court what you saw at Cleo's base," Skizz asked, his voice steady.Ren took a deep breath. "I didn't see anything. I was there, but I was distracted. I didn't witness any wrongdoing."

Skizz frowned but remained composed. "Ren, we have an audio recording from that day. It clearly captures three voices-Cleo, Doc, and a third voice. Your voice."

The room fell silent as Skizz played the recording. Ren's short laugh echoed through the courtroom, unmistakable and damning. Ren's face paled.

"Ren, is that your voice?" Skizz asked.

Ren nodded reluctantly. "Yes, it's my voice. But I still didn't see anything. I must've been distracted."

The tension in the room was palpable as Ren's denial hung in the air. Despite the evidence, Ren stuck to his story, refusing to betray his husband, Doc. The Hermits murmured among themselves, unsure of what to believe.

Bdubs, tapping his gavel, called for order. "Enough. We will deliberate on the evidence presented. This court will reconvene shortly."

As the Hermits filed out of the courtroom, Skizz approached Ren one last time. "You had a chance to do the right thing, Ren. I hope you can live with your decision."

Ren watched Skizz walk away, the weight of his choices heavy on his shoulders. In his heart, he knew he had chosen loyalty over truth, but the cost of that decision would haunt him forever.Certainly! Here's a revised version where Doc loses the trial and comforts Ren afterward:

The courtroom was tense as the Hermits reconvened after a short break. Bdubs, seated with an air of authority, called the trial back to order.

"Let us continue," he announced, his voice firm yet measured. "Skizz, you may proceed."

Skizz, standing beside Cleo, addressed the court with determination. "Your Highness, the evidence clearly indicates that Mr. Doc unlawfully slaughtered Cleo's pig. We have an audio recording from the scene, capturing voices of those present-Cleo, Doc, and a third voice."

Bdubs nodded attentively. "Ren," he addressed directly, his eyes locking onto Ren's. "You were present at the scene. Tell us what you witnessed."

Ren hesitated, his gaze flickering briefly to Doc, who offered a silent plea. Taking a deep breath, Ren stood and faced Bdubs and the courtroom.

"Your Highness," Ren began, his voice steady but conflicted, "I... I didn't see anything. I must have been distracted. I cannot say for certain what happened."

Skizz's brow furrowed in disbelief, but he remained composed. "Ren, you were there. You heard what transpired."

Joe, representing Doc, rose confidently. "Your Highness, there is no concrete evidence linking my client to this alleged act. This trial is based on conjecture, not facts."

Bdubs listened attentively, weighing the arguments. "Very well. The court will deliberate."

As the Hermits murmured among themselves, Ren's heart sank. He had made his choice, driven by loyalty to Doc, but the weight of deceit lay heavy upon him.

After what seemed like an eternity, Bdubs returned with a solemn expression. "The court has reached a decision."

Skizz held his breath, Cleo's grip on his arm tightening in anticipation.

Bdubs spoke, his voice resonating through the courtroom. "Based on the evidence presented, the court finds Mr. Doc guilty of unlawfully slaughtering Cleo's pig."

Ren felt a mix of relief and guilt wash over him. Skizz looked crestfallen, the implications sinking in.

Bdubs turned to Ren, his gaze piercing. "Ren, you have chosen to withhold the truth. Loyalty is commendable, but it cannot obstruct justice."

Ren bowed his head, his voice barely a whisper. "I... I'm sorry."

Bdubs nodded solemnly. "As for Mr. Doc," he continued, "he is found guilty of this charge."

As the courtroom emptied, Ren remained seated, grappling with the consequences of his choice. Outside, under the dim light of the dead biome, he stood alone, haunted by the echoes of his actions.

Doc approached quietly, his expression somber yet understanding. He placed a hand on Ren's shoulder, offering silent support.

"Ren," Doc began softly, "I know why you did what you did. Thank you... for trying to protect me."

Ren looked up, his eyes reflecting a mix of emotions. "But... Doc, I..."

Doc shook his head gently. "It's alright. We'll face this together."

Ren nodded, a sense of relief mingling with remorse. They stood together in the silence of the night, knowing that the trial's outcome would shape their future on Hermitcraft.

-----

If you watched any of the videos from the trial you'll know that nobody took an oath, so, uh, don't come after me, they weren't being technical so I don't have to be either, I did this one before the one before this came out, but to hold what I said I didn't publish this one first.

It did only give me the stuff until it reached when they took a break, and I was kinda like "Hey, I need a part two to this, could you pick it up where you left off?" and it was like "Sure! Btw, Doc isn't going to be guilty, but Ren is gonna feel really guilty about lying anyways."

Anyways, Hope you enjoyed!

Happy reading lovelies!!
