*Trigger Alert*

I don't know how much time has passed. It's way too dark down here to know. They've thrown me in this small metal hole where I can't even stand, leaving me to crawl around.

There is no food, water, and worse, I was alone here. You can survive hunger and thirst for some time, but loneliness in this dark hole can make you lose your fight earlier.

I'm scared to think that they've forgotten about me. Even the thought makes me bang my head against this metal hole. Daddy will come, he promised me. I just have to wait and stay strong until he rescues me. And when he does, he will punish all these bad guys.

When I first saw them, I knew I was in trouble. They were tall, lean built, and smelled horrible. I tried to keep their hands away from me, but then they got more aggressive, so I gave up. They threw me in this underground metal hole and closed the lid.

I wonder what the purpose was. If they wanted to blackmail the brothers, then they would have fed me at least. But what if it's revenge to get back at the brothers by torturing me?

I don't like this thought either.

I was getting desperate now. I banged my fist on the cage to get their attention, but no one came. I wish my new stuffie was here. At least, then I wouldn't have felt so scared and alone.

Does Daddy know I'm here? How will he find me? How's Rey? How's Zed? I hope they're alive. I won't forgive myself if anything happened to any of them.

What should I do?

I whimper in pain and thirst. My hands are bruised from banging repeatedly, but still nobody came. I told them I would be good and won't ask for anything. I just wanted to hear their voices so that I know I'm not here alone.

But no reply came. Tears of desperation keep falling from my eyes. I realized that dying from hunger is not as scary as dying alone is. I just want to see Daddy one last time.

“ Daddy. Please come soon.” I whisper in the dark and then fall unconscious. There is no energy left in my body to stay conscious.

—----------------------------------------------------

I wake up with noises above me, wondering if they have come back? But before I can get up in a sitting position, I realize it's not any ordinary noise. It's gunfire.

What the heck?

Are they fighting each other now? Or….. wait, what if it's Daddy? Adrenaline shoots up in my system, making me feel dizzy. No, I can't lose my consciousness right now. There is no way they will know I'm here unless I shout.

So that's what I do. For longer than necessary. When the gunfire ceases, I shout louder.

“ Daddy! Daddy! I'm here. Please come here. Daddy!!! Eli! Rey! Zed! I'm here!” I kept screaming for Goddess knows how long, but no one came. Not even a single soul.

Wiping my tears, I smell a metallic scent and realize my hands are bleeding. Can I ever get out of here? Will I ever see Daddy?

Defeated, I fell on the ground. I tried not to fall unconscious still in hope that someone might come. But the question is, how will they know I'm here? I don't think I have any energy left.

Will it hurt if I die in my sleep?

I don’t think so, but it will definitely hurt if I don't see Daddy one last time. At least I can imagine him here with me, stroking my hair, kissing my face, head, hands, and lips. He will hug me tight, tell me that I'm safe with him. And I would have believed him even if I was stuck in here.

With a deep sigh in relief, I close my eyes and drift away from this world.

—-------------------------------------------------

“ I don't know what to do anymore.”

“ Me too. Shall we leave?”

“ I think so……” the voice trails. I think I recognize this voice, but from here, I have no idea. My mind is way too numb to respond to anything. I don't know where I am or what I am doing here. What was my name again? I can't focus on anything except the voice.

As my mind processes, I hear footsteps start to retreat. I want to stop them and tell them to continue chatting. I won't disturb them. But they still leave me. Why are they leaving me here alone? I didn't even say a word.

Silent tears started flowing on my face. Please just stay for a few more minutes. I won't ask for more. I mentally beg because I don't remember how to move my mouth and form words.

I sniff.

“ What was that?”

“ What was what?”

“ You didn't hear that noise?”

“ You've started to hallucinate. It's better we take a break now or I'm afraid you'll lose your mind.

They are leaving me. The thought makes me sob loudly.

“ You heard that now?”

“ Yes! Now I did. We need to inform the boss. Go tell him and I will search the area more.”

Footsteps move around, but they are nowhere near me. It's far, and I'm afraid it keeps getting far. Then, all of a sudden, more feet start pounding on the floor.

“ WHERE!??” A voice roars. For some reason, the voice comforts me and pulls me toward it.

“ We don't know, sir. But we are looking. I was standing here when I first heard it.”

“ She should be around then! KEEP SEARCHING!”

I cough when I choke on my own saliva. I think I know this voice more deeply than the other. It cared for me.

“ I think it's coming from under here.” Someone says.

“ Bring me the tools, I will do it myself.” My favorite voice says.

They keep moving, working probably until a bang comes above me.

“ It's a metal cage.” Someone says. And then bright light blinds my eyes. I want to cower in the dark, but then again, I don't know how to encourage my mind to do so.

So I do what I know, I close my eyes.
