Chapter 23

I'm sucking on Alerix’s big thumb, perched on his lap while his other hand is under my dress, rubbing my thigh. He has covered me in a soft blanket that the brothers have started to keep in their cars for me. It's perfect. And I would've fallen asleep with the soft pattering of rain coming from outside the car, but for some reason, I couldn't. 

He and Eli are talking with their cousin Kai in hushed voices. I can hear them, but no matter what I do, I can't focus. His thumb in my mouth is making me forget everything else. He will look at me occasionally, kiss my forehead, rub my back, and continue with his talk.

This is not fair. I want his attention only on me. I cup his face and move toward me.

“ Daddy. Me.” I whine, still not letting his thumb go.

“ Yes, baby. Yes. I'm looking at you now.” He keeps his eyes on my face, looking at me so tenderly that I forget that we have an audience. I'm so lost in his eyes that I didn't notice when I started drooling.

He pays it no mind, just cleans it with his shirt sleeve. I whine when he takes his thumb out of my mouth to clean me.

“ Shh.. here…” Settling when he puts it back in my mouth, eyes still on me. My tongue rolls around his big thumb, sucking it deeply, making humming and gulping noises in between. It's turning me on, my clit is pulsing in need but somehow I don't dare move.

“ Is she hungry? I have some snacks. She can have them, if she wants.” Kai offers. 

He is interrupting my staring contest with Daddy. But daddy doesn't reply, he rubs my bum, squeezes it playfully and keeps patting it like he is telling me to keep going.

“ I don't think she is hungry. Sometimes she needs something to put her to sleep like a pat on her head, back or bum. These days she has developed the habit of sucking on Alerix’s collar and now, his thumb.” Eli replies.

He knows me so well.

“ So she doesn't suck on all of your thumbs?” Kai asks surprised. 

“ No, only mine.” Alerix smiles softly, still facing me.

“ I think it has something to do with your scent. Maybe it calms her. Who knows.” Eli shrugs, kissing my shoulder.

“ That's interesting. Where did you find her by the way? I mean I've heard some stories from people but they are not as reliable. So tell me.” Kai asks.

Alerix sighs, debating his next words. What if he tells him the truth? I don't want that. I can't trust anyone else but the brothers. Maybe Alerix sensed my fear because he immediately hugged me tightly, calming my anxious mind.

“ She was lost so we helped her.” Alerix answers, keeping it curt.

But Kai doesn't let it go. “ That doesn't sound like you. You guys are not known for looking after a little girl.”

Eli shrugs. “ I might have agreed with you before I met our little princess.” He gives me a soft smile then turns to Kai with a serious expression. “ But now she is all we can think about.”

“ That can create a problem. Even father was worried. She can become your weakness and be used by your enemies.” 

Before Kai can continue, Alerix growls, startling me. “ We do not care what Roman thinks. We are well capable of protecting her. So next time think before you open your mouth Kai.”

“ I…Th…That's not what I meant. I can see why you care for her this much. She is so delicate and perfect. I was just suggesting if you ever need my help….you know…babysitting her…then I'm in.”
