Their Princess

Chapter 48

My legs have gone weak, and my head is light. But Rey isn't having any mercy on me. He continues to leave wet kisses all over my face, neck, and tummy. 

Humming in between like he is the one who is getting pleasure out of this. As soon as I woke up today, I gave his cheek a sloppy good morning kiss. So now he has made it his mission to give me extra good morning kisses. 

Princesses deserve more love and care. His words, not mine.

Since Alerix had an important meeting today, Rey joined me in bed. He pinned me to the bed and started to tease my cheeks with his grown beard.

“ Rey.” I whimper when heat starts to pool between my legs. He sucks the skin below my collarbone and above my breast one last time and then gets up from my bed.

I don't even fail to miss the growing excitement in his pants, but say nothing about it when Alerix enters the room. 

“ Alerix!” I jumped on him almost immediately, forgetting about the slickness between my legs. 

“ What's my princess doing today?”

Playing naughty?

“ Getting pampered.” Rey answers for me, making me blush in embarrassment. But Alerix only nuzzles his nose with mine.

“ Is that so? Does that mean I won't get any morning kisses today?” I giggle when he tries to pout. Why is he so cute? I want to eat him.

As soon as he sits with me on his lap, I start to suck his neck. Alerix’s father was very furious when he saw Alerix bending his neck for me, saying that it was a sign of weakness. But Alerix paid him no mind. Although his father just came yesterday, I can't wait for the moment he leaves.

“ Where's father sleeping?” Rey asks.

“ In the guest wing.” He starts to jiggle my bum in his warm hands, spreading the wetness between my legs. I just wish that it doesn't leave any wet patch. I would die with embarrassment. 

“ What did you guys decide?”

“ Rebels will be sent for trials after delivering them what they caused. Or maybe something more. They asked for mercy…..”

Rey scoffs while Alerix continues. “ But that was ignored. They admitted they were planning to breed Leya but didn't have enough time since we started to uproot their base in the forest.”

“ Although I'm glad Leya was the target, why kidnap our princess?”

“ They thought Leya was the bride for Zed. They were not sure about what role our princess played in our life. But when they saw you and Zed with her, they took her.”

“ Later on, they had to arm up against us, so they left her there….. alone……hoping to come back, but they never could…”

There's deafening silence after that. It makes me feel uneasy, so I move Alerix’s head to kiss my cheek. He does so gladly. First, my left cheek and then my right. Peppering butterfly kisses all over my face.

Kissing my left hand knuckles, he sighs in relief. I frown when he stops. His eyes are distant like he is in deep thought. So I put my right hand over his lips, silently asking him to give this hand the same treatment. 

He chuckles and kisses the other hand passionately.

“ Zed will marry me, and I will start living here. What are you going to do then? Huh? Will you dare add extra spices on the plate of a general's wife then?”

“ I think you're hallucinating, Madam. Because if there was any wedding coming, I would've been the first to know. After all, I handle all the preparations of any event held in this castle. So, I suggest you confirm your wedding plans with Sir Zed again because I do not see you living in this castle in any foreseeable future.”

“ You'll see. And when I enter, you'll be the second person to leave this castle forever.” Leya sneers.

I don't have to think twice about who the first person is going to be. It's clearly me. She never liked me, and I don't even know why. Did I do something to make her dislike me this much?

I crawl out of the kitchen cabinet when they leave. I've been hiding here for the last half an hour. I and Eli have been playing hide and seek, but it looks like Leya has started her own game now. I need to watch my back.

But how?

Without thinking twice, I run toward Alerix’s room and enter without knocking, but he is nowhere around. I check his balcony, bathroom, and closet where I freeze. 

It's like my world stopped revolving around its axis and pushed me to face reality. Black and white. Who would have thought ignorance could be this blissful that you will crave it as soon as you start getting the taste of reality.

Pointed, sharp ears with a long tail and tiny fangs.

There's a sharp jab in my head, forcing me to hold my head in my hands to lessen the pain. But I do not dare to turn from the sight in front of me. 

How did I forget this? Tears stream down from my eyes on my face. Anger, fear, sadness, hurt consumes me like no other thing. I drop to my knees and hug my stuffie tight. Letting out what I went through that miserable day.

I want to go home, Daddy.

Come early, Daddy. I will wait for you.

I will. Now give me my kiss.

Don't miss me too much, Eli.

I will try my best. But I can't promise anything.

Zed. Enough. Take her and run.

Daddy. Please come soon.

Daddy! I'm here. Please come here. Daddy!!! Eli! Rey! Zed! I'm here!”

I don't know how long I sat there, but when I got up, I was numb. Carrying my stuffie back to my room, I locked it. I need some time and space to figure things out. 

I'm not very good at calculations, I majorly go with how I feel. So, I tried my best to calculate what happened when and how. And no matter what I do, I come up with only one result. I tried to reason with my mind to see the facts or to see why it might have happened, but it still kept hurting me like no other.

They found Leya before me.
