Their Princess

Chapter 88

I want to go home. I want to sleep. I don't want to be here. I want my bed right now. I whine internally. I look at Daddy and Eli, who are immersed in a deep conversation with Ronan while I stand beside Eli, clinging to his side.

The fact that he is caressing my head nonstop doesn't help my case at all. I'm about to fall asleep, and I'm afraid that the moment I do, I will fall face first.

I should've accepted his offer to carry me when he offered. Now I deeply regret it. I don't know why, but sometimes I make decisions without giving them a thought. I need to do something about it before it becomes a habit.

And why they have removed tables from the sides. There was already enough space for them to do the deed. Then what was the purpose of removing the chairs?

It's not like the whole crowd is going to participate in this unless….. Goddess, please, no. I'm not ready for this show. Any other day, I would have liked to see live p*rn. But right now, all I want is a bed. 

For sleeping. Nothing else.

I promise.

I look toward Rey, who is typing on his tab. Should I ask him? Decisions, decisions. I shift my weight from my right leg to my left. Rey won't mind carrying me the whole night. Right? 

What if he will?

There are people around my age, but for some unknown reasons, they are pumped with energy. I even heard one of them exclaiming they couldn't wait to get banged by the Dawn brothers. 

Only in their dreams. They are mine and mine alone. Except Zed and Kai, of course. They can have them. I won't mind.

Giving up my strong facade, I walk toward Rey and tug on his shirt. “ Rey Rey, up”. I hold my arms in the air for him to carry me.

Smiling brightly, he picks me up, thankfully giving a break to my legs. I sigh in relief and lay my head on his shoulder. The crowd continues to chatter, but I don't mind it at all as I'm drifting away, far away where no harm can come to me.

I don't mind what happens next because I know I'm living my best life.

Rey’s pov

I watch my little girl sleeping soundly in my arms, her warm breath hitting my neck, leaving a trail of goosebumps on my skin. I sigh in relief, knowing she is safe, happy, and well fed. I knew she wouldn't be able to stay awake longer. That's why we planned everything to be early, but Kai ruined everything. 

I don't know what he is discussing with his father inside, but I want this thing to get over now.

“ Is she asleep?” Alerix asks, concerned.

“ Of course she is. It's past her bedtime. Here, cover her properly.” Eli says while wrapping her favorite blanket around her.

“ When are they starting, Alerix? What are they discussing so deeply?” 

Alerix shrugs, but his posture says otherwise. He definitely knows what's going on. I shift my eyes to Eli, questioning him silently who only mouths to me ‘ Later’.

Sighing, I sway my baby against my body in a perfect rhythm that even has me almost falling into deep slumber.

“ Finally.” I see Shafira and Kai coming from the guest wing to the center of the garden, naked. As if sensing them, all the chatter comes to a halt, lights dim, and both of them take their position on the ground.
