Tick tock.

Tick tock.

Tick tock.

Tick tock.

I sigh in heavy boredom. It's been a week since the so-called pre wedding ceremony ended. And now I'm missing some drama in my life. Why isn't anything happening? Where are all the villains of my story? What are they doing?

Aren't they supposed to make my life miserable? They aren't doing their job properly because right now, I'm feeling low on misery.

What should I do? Should I play the villain? Given the circumstances and the capability of my enemies, I think I will play this role much better than them.

But what exactly do they do? How do I become the villain of my own life? Is that even possible?

Hmm… let's see. What would Leya do if she was here? Or Shafira? My favorite villain among them was obviously Leya. She was putting the right amount of villainess in my life. I miss her now.

What should I do? I throw my legs on the couch’s back and lay upside down.

“ Neri, how do you become a bad person?” I ask, seeing her dusting the table.

“ I assume you're bored, Madam.” She says, amused.

“ Yes. Very. I want to make my life miserable. How do I do this?” She stops working and frowns at me.

“ Why do you want to make your own life miserable, madam? When you can give it to others and feed on it.” I stop rolling my legs in the air at her advice.

Interesting.

I roll on my chest, intrigued by her ideas. “ What do you suggest?”

“ There are a lot of things you can do like doing something wrong and putting the blame on others. Or playing the role of an innocent victim or making people's life hell by interrupting their peace.”

I should make some notes.

“ What else? Where do I start? Guide me, Neri.”

“ How are you going to master the art of cunningness if I have to tell you everything? Villains set their own path.”

I groan loudly, scratching my head in frustration.

“ Just keep in mind that all villains have some principles that they follow with their hearts. It's a code among villains.” She adds.

“ Yes, right. Principles. Umm…. Can you give me some ideas or tips…. I don't know where to start?”

She sighs heavily and comes to sit beside me on the couch. “ I will tell you a story. It happened before I started to work here. I lived with my husband and mother in law in a small cottage. My MIL never liked me. She wanted her son to marry the daughter of her friend, Mando. But that never happened because there was a huge age gap. Whenever her friend arrived, they would talk about their imaginary married life to rile me up.”

“ One day, I had enough and went to Mando’s house. She wasn't there but her daughter was. Pretty little thing, very obedient and charismatic.” She says dreamily, and I feel like I know where this is going.

“ She had just entered her adulthood and was looking so ripe that I drooled at the sight of her. She was nothing like her mother, attended me well, and apologized on behalf of her mother. When I was leaving, I gave her a hug, which turned into something more. And like a good obedient girl, she followed my instructions. She was crawling for me on the floor when her mother entered and witnessed us naked.” She chuckled.
