Their Princess

Chapter 74

“ Is Daddy mad at me?” I ask Eli quietly.

“ If he is, then it has nothing to do with you. He is just mad at the circumstances that we are currently in.”

“ What about Rey? Does he think I'm a troublemaker?”

Eli cups the side of my face and places a kiss on my forehead. “ If you're a troublemaker, then you must be his favorite.”

I wait and let his words sink in my mind. I'm having difficulty processing things today. Everything is happening so fast that I'm not able to catch up on anything. Eli and his brothers are going out of their way to be patient with me. And given their reputation, I bet it's a first.

They like to be in control, but for my sake, they are holding themselves back. So, after two hours of my emotional meltdown, I explained everything to them. From going to the bathroom alone to Feya's room. In detail.

The brothers were mad beyond the limit. I apologized for going out without informing them, but they said nothing. Maybe they are having difficulty in processing everything, too.

Rey and Daddy have gone out to do God knows what, leaving Eli by my side. 

To be honest, I'm getting annoyed now. Why are people after me? Why are they using me to get to brothers? Why can't they let us be? Because of them, I can't do anything by myself. I need someone beside me all the time.

Although I love the Dawn brothers, that doesn't mean I don't want to do things on my own. Now I have to take permission for almost everything, even for going to the bathroom.

I sigh in exhaustion. “ What about you, Eli?”

“ What about me?”

“ Do you think I'm a brat?”

He huffed a laugh. “ If you're a brat, then you're the most docile, well-behaved and adorable brat I've ever met.”

“ And I'm your favorite?” I ask, looking up at him.

“ Now that you are.” 

Eli brushes his cheek with mine and kisses my lips. We lay there in my single bed listening to the sound of rain and thunder looking into each other's eyes.

It's so peaceful and serene that I almost lose myself in it. Suddenly, Eli's lips are on mine, gentle yet demanding. 

I open my mouth to let his tongue enter my mouth, and he groans immediately in approval. Sitting up in the bed, he brings me closer to his chest and starts to ravish my mouth. I can feel his excitement between my legs poking through his pants.

Moaning loudly, I grind on his ever hardening length, which he replies with one of his own groans. As I'm running my fingers through his curls, someone clears their throat.

I yelp on Eli’s lap, startled by the unknown intruder on our door. Or maybe I know her.

“ What do you want?!” Eli growls at the girl. What was her name? 

“ I'm…. I …. Hi, Sir. I came to tell you…. I'm???” I think she is nervous or lost.

“ They are serving dinner in the lobby. So we volunteered to inform you, Sir.” The other girl says, pushing the first one aside.

“ Thank you. We are coming. And you. What's your name?”

The girl stutters so her friend helps her. “ She is Jovi, and I'm Alvira. It's nice to meet you again, Sir.”

“ Next time, do not enter without my permission. Is that clear?”

“ Yes.” They both affirm and leave the room.

“ Are you hungry, baby?” 

I nod. “ How are they going to feed everyone, Eli? There are so many people out there.”

“ Don't worry, princess. We called an emergency and restocked the food in the affected areas. So there's more than enough food. Shall we leave now, or do you want to continue our session?” Eli teases, making my cheeks flame in heat.

“ Yes. Can I walk, Eli?”

He frowns but nods. I hold his hand all the way to the dining hall where people are eating and chatting.

I see Daddy and Rey talking with some uniformed men. Should I go to him? What if he is still mad at me? 

But Eli said he is not. Before I can decide my next course of action, Daddy turns to me and opens his arms for me.

Without any delay, I rush my feet to where he is standing and let his familiar scent envelope me in wholeness and wonder.

“ Daddy!!” He inhales deeply in my neck.

“ My sweet girl.”

“ Rey Rey. I missed you.” I pout.

“ I'm sorry, baby. We weren't in the right mind. We needed to take care of some things. I'm sorry we left so abruptly.”

“ So you're not mad at me?” Daddy pulls his face from my neck.

“ Mad? Why would we be mad at you, my love?”

“ Because I didn't listen to you.”

“ I'm not mad, baby. Concerned. Yes. But not mad. We will talk about it more in our room. You're allowed to make your decisions. It's just that it's not safe right now. I'm sorry, baby, for making your life so complicated.”

I shrug, knowing he is not at fault. I chose to live with them, I wanted to be part of their life, so it's all on me. And I don't regret this decision of mine at all.

“ I'm hungry, Daddy.”

“ Let's eat then.”

I look around to see Feya and Mrs. Fawx, but find them nowhere. Except Dom lady who is sitting with some uniformed men. I think Daddy has everything under control now. 

How he managed to do everything so quickly is still a mystery to me. In my eyes, he is perfect. 

I bet Daddy is behind Feya and Fawx’s disappearance. One part of me wants to question him, but another is too tired to use any mental muscle. 

As we take our seats, Rey and Eli pile our table with the food that I like. 

“ What do you want to eat, my sweet girl?” Rey asks affectionately. 

“ That one, please. Oh. Eli, can you please fill my glass with water?”

“ Of course, darling.”

“ Such a good baby. Always so polite.” Daddy praises against my ear and then kisses the shell of my ear. 

I hide my hands in the blanket that Eli wrapped me in while they feed me. I was so absorbed in eating that I missed when the whole room went silent. 

And when I did, a group of elderly couples were watching me with an expression that I couldn't comprehend. Daddy turned me around to face him, probably reading my growing anxiety. As he fed me, I heard the beginning of a new round of whispers.

I sigh heavily. I just hope that this night ends well.
