Groaning loudly, I fell face first on the couch beside Rey, who patted my butt lightly.

“ Why's my sweet girl so tired today? Everything alright, baby?”

I only hum in reply.

“ Is it your bleeding time, baby?”

“ Yes.” My voice was muffled by his side.

“ That's strange, I even set the alarm. Why didn't it ring?” He has set an alarm for my periods? Only my Rey Rey can do that.

“ They are early, Rey Rey. Don't worry. It's normal.”

“ Oh… that's okay then. Do you want to eat something or do you want any back rubs?”

“ Aren't you busy, Rey Rey?”

“ Just say it, baby. What do you want?” He presses.

“ Back rub, please.”

Rey’s strong but gentle hands caress my lower back and butt slowly. I don't know why I feel so drained during my periods. It's like all I want to do is sleep.

“ What are you doing?”

And here comes the villain. Villain of my sleep. Thankfully, Kai and his father left before I woke up, leaving Rufus under our care. For some reason, Mr. Rufus wants to get me on a routine. He has been set on convincing Daddy to give me a better schedule since all I do in this castle is sleep.

I mean, he is not wrong, but I have a variety. Sometimes, I sleep on the couch, sometimes on bed, sometimes on Daddy, Rey, or Eli. I'm aware I sleep a lot, but does he have to point it out like that. That's rude. And what's even wrong with sleeping?

A koala bear sleeps 18- 20 hours in a day, and let's not forget about black bears who hibernate for up to 7 months without being questioned by anyone. I'm kinda jealous.

“ Working.” Rey replies.

“ I can see that, but what is she doing here?”

Typical father. Told you. Can't leave their children alone.

Rey sighs heavily and looks up from his work tab. “ Father, what do you want?”

“ I'm just having a conversation with you, Rey. That's all. Why are you getting agitated?”

“ I'm not agitated. You're distracting me.”

“ I'm not distracting you. She is. Because of her, you have to multi-task now. When all your focus should be on your work.”

“ Father, with all due respect, let us live in peace.” Rey says, rubbing his face tiredly.

“ I'm not your enemy, son. On your guys' request, I agreed to accept her in the castle. But she has to prove herself to be useful here.”

“ First of all, we didn't request anything from you. Secondly, we don't need your permission on who stays with us and who does not. We are grown men, Father. We can decide for ourselves. And lastly, what the heck do you mean by proving herself?” His voice rises with every word he speaks.

“ Well…. You know…. How she is useful to you guys. I want to see what she can do.”

Wait? What exactly does he mean? I look at Rey for any answer, but he is as confused as I am.

“ What does that mean?” I can't help but ask.

“ What can you do?” He says, looking me in the eyes. For some reason, it doesn't sit well with me. I fidget closer to Rey for safety, who immediately wraps his arm around me, glaring at his father.
