On face time, busy making dinner was Selena as she glanced at Taylor sat on the couch with Austin and Quincy chasing each other outside.

"Quin and Austin hit it off?" Selena laughed when Quincy dove over Austin's attempted tackle. Taylor looked out the window where her best friend had spotted them.

Taylor rolled her eyes, no real annoyance behind it, "They're like two kids, Sel. Everything is a competition." Despite her annoyed tone, she smiled, watching Quincy laugh at Austin when he tripped.

"At least she's easing up a bit. I was worried she had been brainwashed." Selena teased Quin relentlessly about her ever serious stares.

Taylor smiled, amused, "Well, she's broken free."

"Say, I heard there's huge fights going on online. My fans have grown relentless." Selena had caught the jist of it. They were unhappy, and the topic was about defending Quincy.

Taylor hummed real annoyance flashing in her eyes. Selena saw the fury and leaned in to see Taylor better, "tell me."

"The sleaze that started the crap is a woman Quincy had an affair with during her time in the Navy." Taylor had to focus on keeping her tone calm and low to not attract Quincy's attention.

"Oh, so the home wrecker thing?" Selena didn't make any assumptions this time.

"Untrue. Quincy was unaware of the husband and kids, Sarah never disclosed this." Taylor watched her best friend's eyes widen at the mention of kids.

"Quin is so protective over kids." Selena had been in awe at the stories she read online and to see how Quincy so lovingly interacted not only with Bailey and even Blake and Ryan's kids at the premiere.

Taylor scoffed, "I know!" She sighed and glanced outside to see Quincy carrying Austin in a fireman carry. "And you know what gets me? They're out there calling her names, questioning her character and morals, and you want to know the only thing that really upsets her?" Blue eyes darted between the screen and her now room temperature lemonade.

Selena caught on that the blonde was getting riled up, "the kids being involved?" She guessed.

"Yeah!" Taylor sighed, running a hand through her hair.

Selena smiled, knowing her best friend was already working on a way to fix it, "So what's that big brain of yours plotting?" Taylor looked at her best friend with a hint of surprise. "We've known each other for over a decade, Taylor. I know how you work."

"I don't expect people to go out of their way to stand up for Quincy but maybe if a few of us who actually met her and know her said something, showed we stand with her and don't believe these fabricated stories..." Taylor took a deep breath, feeling her head start to pound.

"I understand, I'll send Kelly a text. It only feels right that she started this new positive trend." Selena returned to mixing her pot.

Taylor was surprised by the casual mention, "You have Kelly's number?"

"You don't?" Selena simply countered.

"Alright, whatever," Taylor waved her off. "I'll send Ari a text ask her to talk to Gaga." She spoke thoughtfully as she made a mental list of names.

"Can I ask why you're so determined to do this?" Selena questioned gently.

"Quincy is always the first to step in and protect or support not only me but everyone around her. She won't do anything about this, but I am not going to allow some name dropping sleaze to tear down someone as undeserving as Quincy. She's playing a very unfair and dangerous game..." Taylor rose to her feet to go pour herself a glass of water to help with the headache.
