Vince hasn't slept so well in ages. Ever since he opened his bistro, he couldn't fall asleep and just stay up, staring at his ceiling until his eyes close. Now he has a beautiful man next to him to see every morning after he wakes up. His cute sleepy face, his messy ginger hair and those pink lips slightly parted, he just can't get enough of him.
"My sweet precious puppy, how I want to tie the knot with you and claim you for eternity. I must be patient, rushing just ruins things."
The sound of rain is heard outside.
"Rain? Looks like we're gonna have a slow day today."And Vincent was right. He barely had any customers today. He is that close to fall asleep.
"Good thing I let Rody rest today. Even I'd be as bored as he gets on a slow day like this one." he lights a cigarette
*Ring ring ring*
He looks at the phone before picking it up.
"Vincent Charbonneau speaking"
"Mr. Charbonneau hello!" the voice is familiar
"Mr... Lamoree?"
"Glad to know you didn't forget this old man here." he chuckles
"I'm surprised you called sir. To what do I owe the pleasure of this call?"
"I remember the meal we had and I thought I'd share with you a small tradition us Lamorees do."
"A tradition? Shouldn't you tell that to your son?"
"He already knows but as my son is a shy little boy, you might as well do the proposing."
"What proposing? Oh he means..." "As in marriage proposal sir?"
"What else do I mean boy? So what do you say?"
Advice from his future father-in-law? How can he refuse?
"Tell me more sir" a smirk grew on his pale face"Rody, I'm back." Vince locks the front door "Rody?" no answer "Where is he? Is he out?" he stops in his tracks as he sees the apartment is sparkling clean "Did he clean all the house?" no stain or dust anywhere, even the sheets of the bed are new
*Unlocking sound*
Rody uses the spare key to get inside.
"Where in the world were you?"
"Last minute grocery shopping. You're out of ingredients."
"I'm never out of ingredients." Vince opens the fridge, only to see it empty, the same goes for the cabinets "Oh... I guess I needed some groceries. What did you eat tho?"
"The sandwich you left me and some pasta I made. Wanna cook dinner?"
"I'll do the cooking. You cleaned up all the rooms which I'm thankful for."
"It wasn't much to clean as this house is always spotless."
In truth, Rody went to Rayna's house and filled their stomaches with good food by ordering from restaurants.
"I'm not gonna tell him that. That's our twin secret." he smirks to himself
"You didn't miss anything today. Rain made the day slow and boring."
"Nobody wants to go out in the rain."
Vince starts cooking, something quick and simple for the evening. This time he doesn't need any sous chef to taste test his food as he got his taste back. Rody goes to change after a long day. He brings his clothes to the bathroom to take a shower. Vincent can hear the water running in the bathroom. Last night it was wild, he discovered more sensible spots that make Rody melt in his touch. Hopefully the neighbors did not hear anything or else he'd have a lot to explain using his fake smile. He got excited when Rody was begging to not touch his sensible parts, Vince not listening and rubbing them longer or pinching them softly, causing Rody to moan louder. His cock throbbing with excitement inside the tight walls, the pleasure increasing past the point that it could rise. Vince lost count of how many times he came inside him.
"What are you thinking about?"
"Oh nothing. Dinner is ready."
Rody sits down and eats a hot, toasted sandwich. His hair is still wet but it'll get soft after it dries.
"So Rody, tell me how you were a kid in college. A genius eh?"
He stops eating. He doesn't like to talk about his time in college, but Vincent wouldn't be someone to laugh at him for unfortunate.
"I was smart, but due to lack of money I had to drop out. I couldn't work and attend classes at the same time."
"Yet you're sometimes silly. Some did consider you muscles with no brains."
"That's just an act."
"Is it tho?"
"You can believe me or not, up to you. You yourself are not charming as the magazines say. In truth, you are cold, threatening and not afraid to burn a cook. I saw you."
Vince froze. He saw him? Rody is very pissed right now.
"You're cruel, Vincent Charbonneau."
The tension is rising in the room.
"I may be cruel... but you know what else I am?"
A lovesick look appears on his face.
"I am in love with you I'll just kill any person that looks at you, even your ex girlfriend."
Rody looks at him with a glare.
"You need therapy"
"So do you" Vince's face is back to his dull, cold one
"Thank you for the food. I'll brush my teeth and go to bed."
"You better wait for me."
"Maybe, maybe now." he does a small wave as he walks out"It's been a while since I read a book. I have only read study books so far. This is a good book." Rody's reading a book with supernatural characters
"I don't remember buying that book."
"I got it for myself."
"When did you get it?"
"Last week, paying it with all the tips I got from the customers."
"Smart. Getting a book instead of just keeping it to re-decorate your crappy apartment, tho that doesn't matter as you moved to another place."
Rody has his annoyed smile on.
"Have you ever been punched before, Vincent?"
"Why do you ask?"
"No reason" "You may be my boss now but I can still quit and go with Rayna in London. Would working with Vicky be better or as worse?"
"Your moles on your cheek... they look nice on you"
"My moles? They are just spots on my face." "Rayna has two moles on her left cheek." the twins got moles from their mothers "They're nothing special"
Vince puts his hand close to his cheek, a finger runs on the moles.
"They make you more unique."
Just a moment ago they were about to fight, now the moment is romantic. A blush creeps on Rody's face.
"Let's not argue anymore ok? Let's go to sleep." Vince gives him a soft smile
"Fine" Rody has no choice but to give in to himRayna removes the foundation off her moles. She always hides them so men don't touch her.
"You know, with me, they won't touch you anymore."
"I appreciate your concerns Vicky, but I prefer to play it safe."
"...Did that guy touch you?"
Rayna stops for a moment.
"Not too far but yes. If it wasn't for my cousin to stop him..." she sighs "I don't want to think about it."
"I can ruin his life."
"How about no? He ruined it himself."
"Whatever you say"
Vicky walks to her and kisses her.
"Let's go to bed mon coeur."
"I'm getting water water before then." Rayna goes to the kitchen to get water to drink before going back "Here is a glass for you too."
"Thank you~"
Rayna goes under the covers.
"I'll miss Rody after I leave."
"I could move my business here."
"Wouldn't that be difficult?"
"Not at all, but it will take time."
"It would be great to work here and see Rody more often."
"I'll make a few calls later. For now, I want a good old sleep."
"You and me both boss."
"I'm not boss now. I'm your girlfriend and I should get the love I deserve."
"Mhm sure" "How did I get myself into this situation again?" she shrugs it off and closes her eyes to sleep
