Chapter 44: Hawkseye

Serenity POV

I get a call from Shingo, he said the girls are so worried about me. Endymion himself, has been contacting me through our bond daily. They are getting suspicious.

"Princess, you should tell them." Diamond says as he enters the prayer room.

I shake my head, "they will only get even more protective."

"What about the Prince?"

"I really don't want him to worry him more about my safety, let alone seeing me as a child. It's different when you sees your partner as a child and then begins to think of you as one, it becomes a relationship you can no longer maintain."

"Just give them a call."

I shake my head, "Shingo's told me that they're going to the beach today. I'll be watching them from here in case someone gets targeted."

"You should join them. I'm sure the crystal can help you change your appearance for at a few hours."

Before I could reply to that, someone else spoke up.

"The silver crystal has to be limited as it is connected to the Golden Crystal. However, I can help you with changing your appearance." I turn around to see Mother holding the Crystal Ball.

"What do you mean?" I ask Pegasus.

Mother hands me the Crystal Ball as he explains, "I still have some power left, enough to grant my partner's wish for at least one day."

I hug the Crystal ball tightly, "thank you, you have no idea how much this means to me."

"I think I do."

He flapped his wings, and his horn glowed bright gold. Before I knew it, I was back into my normal body.

"It'll only last until you transform, after that you will turn back into your child form."

"That is more than I can ask for. Thank you."

I give him one more hug, and teleport to Rei's place.

Once I got there, I looked around to see myself surrounded by my Inner Ladies.

Rei almost slaps me, but she holds back. With tears in her eyes, she simply gave me a hug, "Don't worry us like this!"

Minato and Lita joined the hug, "What have you been doing all this time?!"

"Why haven't you contacted us?!"

"Do you have any idea how worried Mamoru-san is?!"

Ami stayed quiet but joined the hug.

"I'm sorry girls, but I'm only here for a moment. I have to return to my Mother soon."

"What?!"

"But we have a new enemy!"

"We have someone who says she's our ally but, won't reveal herself!"

I ordered them to stay calm, and explained the situation as I practiced, "I know we have a new enemy but, Mother and I have to stay on the Moon. Their leader is sealed in a mirror, a seal that requires our full energy and focus."

Of course, we can't reinforce the seal anymore. This is is just an excuse for my 'absence' in the battles.

"Then why are they looking at people's..." Rei began to ask.

"...their dream mirror?" Ami finishes the question.

"They're looking for the purest dream mirror, to find the hidden soul of Helios; who has taken on the form of Pegasus."
