Chapter 13: Babysitting and the Final Battle

Three days later

Usagi POV

"I can't believe they would attack a nursery!"

"I'm not that surprised seeing as we've seen worse."

I thought about what he said, "True, but now we have to watch over this baby. We don't know the first thing about babies."

"But we can learn."

Just then, the baby boys started crying. On instinct, I lifted him into my arms, making sure to support his head.

"Ssshh, don't cry."

I patted his back while rocking from side to side. Sure enough, he stopped crying, and started laughing.

"Oh, you're such an angel!"

Mamoru hugged me from behind, "I told you we would be fine."

"I suppose you were right."

"You bet I was. By the way, have I told you how amazing you look with a baby in your arms. Makes me wonder what our child would look like?"

His hands caressed my stomach.

"Mamo-chan! You make it sound as if I was pregnant!"

"You may not be now, but I remember you were in the past."

I sighed as I nodded my head, "I do feel bad for committing suicide while knowing I was carrying our child. However, there truly was no meaning to living with Beryl controlling the Earth and invading the Moon kingdom."

He kissed me tears away, "I know, and I'm not mad at you. I just wanted to let you know, I'm always here for you...no matter what you decide to do."

I leaned on him, as I allowed my sorrow to be washed away by his warmth.

'My poor daughter, you never got a chance to live. But I just know that fate is not too cruel. Mother would have made sure we would be able to meet again. Just you wait, when the time comes...you will be in my arms.'

"Alright then, everyone's here. Since Mamo-chan and I have to look after a baby boy, we'll take turns. As you know, we all need to upgrade our attacks. Venus' attack will become 'Crescent Beam Shower'. Our goal is to upgrade everyone before we confront the two aliens. Mars, your next attack should be 'Fire Mandala'. Mercury, your next power should be 'Shine Aqua Illusion' and Jupiter...yours is Sparkling Wide Pressure'. Once we manage to do that, we can finally end this once and for all."

Mars looked at me worryingly, "You aren't the one to rush us into battle. Why do you seem in a rush to defeat them?"

I looked up in the dark night sky, "Because, I don't want to face two new enemies at once."

Jupiter immediately asked, "So it seems negotiations failed."

However, what the others didn't know was that Jupiter already has that attack. She's merely waiting for everyone else to upgrade to planet power now.

I nodded my head, "The guardian of space and time has warned me. We can expect to be attacked by the Black Moon clan anytime soon. We have to hurry and get stronger."

With that in mind, we trained as much as we could before the final battle.

Seijuro had invited me to their place, and seeing as I was ready to face them, I came with Mamoru. As I was looking around for any clues of who they are, a vine pulled me into the room.
