Chapter 25: Kidnapped Usagi

Usagi POV
"Your fever's gone back up."

"I'll be fine, it's just a small fever."

"You shouldn't take a fever lightly." Scolded Luna.
"Luna is right, just let me use my crystal to heal you."

"The crystal is already healing me, it's just taking longer because the fever was created by negative energy."

"Which is exactly why I should help you."

I pouted my lips, and try to think of a reason why he shouldn't waste his energy.
'I get that he's worried for me, but I'm perfectly fine. Everyone gets a fever. He should understand that since he wants to be a doctor....that's it!'

"Will you heal everyone who has a fever with the crystal?"
"What?" He looked at me in surprise.
"You're going to be a doctor in the future, and that means you'll see patients in worse conditions than I am. If you find a patient in a severe condition, will you heal them with your crystal?"
"Of course not, even I know that I shouldn't do that. Even if I wanted to..."

'That's right, no one but Goddess Cosmos is allowed to give living beings eternal life. But only Mother and I know about her. I need to find her, just in case something happens to me.'

"Now that you understand, go help them with luring out Prince Diamond. We have to warn him about Wiseman."

"I got it, just please, get some rest."
"Don't worry, Mamoru. I'll make sure she stays in bed."

"Lita, you have to go with them."
"No way, we can't leave you alone when you're this weak."
"Fine, then call Hotaru and the others."
"Got it."

Once they FINALLY left, Lady Pluto arrived with the other Outer Ladies.
"Pluto, how did you get here so fast?"
"I've been watching the entire time, so I just gathered everyone else and came."

They let their transformation fall and revealed their civilian form. We immediately hugged each other and went into a full conversation.

"I'm glad he cares about you that much, otherwise..."
"Haruka!" I shouted while slapping her arm lightly.
"It's not good for him to treat me like I need his protection."
"But he's right. He's there for you." Michiru added.
"I know that, but..."
"And you're there for him. It's been proven that the two of you are strong, together." Setsuna countered.
"I know, I know..."

"Well, enough about our prince. I want to hear about our princess."
"Haruka doesn't like boys, it's a miracle that she can stand Mamoru and his knights."
"Michiru!"
"Ara, am I wrong?"
"Tch-."

I turn to Hotaru, "How's life?"
"It's amazing, I can live with everyone for the first time."
I smile gently, and hugged her, "It's time for you to look forward to the future. Is there anything you're interested in?"

Her eyes brighten up, "Actually, I'm interested in our future princess~ I've heard that she resembles you a lot."
"More like she resembles my mother from when she was younger. I wish she had my golden hair, but I adore her pink hair too. I just can't make up my mind." I shrugged my shoulders.
Hotaru giggled, "Then why choose? You can just keep having kids until you get the blond child you want."
My heart felt a sharp pain, "I can't,"

"Huh?" She looked at me confused.
However, Setsuna, Haruka, and Michiru stopped Hotaru from saying anything else.
I forced myself to smile, "You're right! I'll keep trying until Mamoru gets tired of me."

Haruka huffed, "As if! Our bunny here is the most cutest princess in the entire galaxy! There is no way he'll ever get sick of you."
Michiru giggled, "Haruka, Usagi-chan is only a teenager right now. But think about the future, she'll be a full grown adult."
Setsuna nodded her head, "Our princess resembles her mother too, so she'll have the body that every man would crave to have their hands on her."

"What?" Hotaru said thoroughly confused.
'Oh the poor girl, she doesn't understand anything since she's always been awake during peaceful years, and back to sleep right after her job ends. I have to teach her everything, one by one. Plus it'll be good practice for when I have to explain everything to Rini.'

After a while of talking, my fever went up even more.
"Oh dear, it seems she needs to get some water and ice."
Setsuna got up, "I'll go get some ice. Hotaru, can you help Michiru cook some medicine for our princess? And Haruka, go find the medicine drawer, and get some medicine out."
Everyone left but Setsuna.

"Princess, I..."
"Pluto, you don't have to say anything. I understand, you can't affect the future too much."
"I'm truly sorry."
"Don't apologize. You're the keeper of time and space, it's only right you don't let yourself get too involved. But please, don't shut yourself away and chain yourself to the duty my Mother gave you."
She doesn't reply and leaves my room.

Just as she exits, a silver haired man enters my room via transport.
"Serenity, I've finally found you."
I grab my brooch, ready to transform. But with my body weak, he manages to use his powers to render me unconscious.
'Mamoru~help.' I send through our bond with my final strength.

Mamoru POV
"Everyone quiet!" I yell.
Immediately they look at me.

"Usagi just asked me for help, I think Diamond has her."
"How can you be so sure?" Rei asked.
"Because Diamond is obsessed with her," Emerald says supporting me.
"You better go to the future. He's definitely took her there."

"But how do we go to the future?"
"I'll take you there!"
I turn to see my adorable baby girl. She's clutching tightly to a strange key.
"Puu, she's the keeper of time and space. She's my friend, and she helped me come here."
I nodded my head, "Then we leave as soon as everyone is ready."
"Got it!" Everyone said.

Just as Sapphire led his people to follow behind Ami, I grabbed his arm.
"You, Rubeus, Emerald, and the others should stay behind."
"What?"

"If the girls and my knights go to the future, including your group, then we'll leave Tokyo vulnerable. I've seen what Wiseman can do, and he'll definitely try to do something while we're gone."
"Fine, we'll stay and guard this place."
"Thank you."
"Wait!" I turn around to see Emerald.

"Please, bring back Prince Diamond."
I nodded my head, "I cannot make any promises, but I'll do my best."

Usagi POV
"Ugh, my head."
I look around the place that I've just woken up in. A sigh of relief escapes as I see my brooch still tightly in my hand.
"Where am I?"

"You're in my palace."
I turn to see Prince Diamond looking at me, "I made sure to pump a lot of negative energy into you. And yet you're still...how should I say this?"
"I don't care what you've done to me, I won't be yours!"
"Oh? Why do you think I like you?"
"Are you seriously asking me that?"

He nodded his head.
"Sapphire and Emerald told me."
"You're lying, my brother would never betray me."
"You're right in a certain way. He's trying to save you from Wiseman."
I explained everything that we've found out in the past few days.

"I see, so that's what's happened. Then, I'll just have to lock you away until I get rid of that traitor."
"No! I've felt his power, you can't handle him alone!"
"You're worried about me?" He said in surprise.
"I worry as a friend. Don't you dare think I have feelings for you?"

He smiles at me sadly and leaves.
'He's gone. I have to leave this place!'
"Moon, Crystal Power....Makeup!"
Nothing happens.

"No way, don't tell me that the black crystal is countering the silver crystal?!"
"How am I going to return to Mamoru and everyone else?"
