Chapter 4: Jadeite's Rebirth-edited

Setting: Tokyo Airport, 9:30 pm
1 week and 5 days later : 4 battles later

"Ahhh!" I ran away from the airplane chasing me.

'We came because Jadeite's clone invited us, knowing that it was a trap. But this is too much! Who fricken' controls airplanes on mere humans!'

'We're technically not humans, except Mamoru and even he's considered as a supernatural being on Earth.' Luna replied.

'Tuxedo Mask, any ideas?'

'Nope! My roses can't pop the airplane wheels. Jadeite must have reinforced them with a barrier.'

'That's not something to be happy about!' I yelled at him.

'Well, at least we're getting exercise/ training.'

'That is true. Maybe I should take this clone?'

'Luna, stop joking around!'

'Oh, but I'm not. You're the one who hasn't defeated him yet.'

'Well, I can't use my crystal! And my tiara isn't strong enough!'

"I've found it!" Mercury says as she is out of the plane's reach.

"Aim for the plane's belly! You should be able to slip underneath the plane without getting hurt!"

"So that guy thought we wouldn't have the guts to run towards the plane? Smart, I'll give him that." Mars said.

"W-what! We're going to run TOWARDS not AWAY from IT!" I yell.

'Ugh, I have a headache from how stupid I need to act!'

'Control yourself, only two more Ladies to find.'

'I know. I just feel bad for the Ladies and you.'

'We can handle it just fine. Now focus.'

"By my calculations, the airplanes are moving by Jadeite's command so if Jadeite can't see us he can't control their movements!"

"Then you cover us! Moon and I will take the two planes! Tuxedo Mask will cover Mercury!"

'Good plan.' We all thought.

'It's frustrating though, I should have been the one to say that!'

'Don't worry, when this is all over, you can show them your true self.'

'Right! Starting tomorrow, I'm going to hunt those two down!'

'Hunt?' Mamoru and Luna thought to themselves.

"Mercury, Bubble Spray!"

"What! It's no use trying to hide. You can't keep the cover up for long and then I'll destroy all of you!" Jadeite said from the sky.

'You know, if you really want to destroy us; you've got the wrong method. We're weak in close combat right now so that's what I'm going to focus on after I gather the remaining two.'

Mars and I found our targets and ran towards them. Surprisingly, there was enough space underneath the plane to stand without worrying about bumping our head.

"Mars, Fire Soul!"

"Moon, Tiara Action!"

"It's not enough! You have to attack one more time!" Mercury yelled.

"What!" We both yelled. Out of all our battles, this is the first time we each have to use our attack more than once.

'Guess we have no more options.'

"Mars! Let's switch targets!"

"Why? It's easier to stay underneath the same plane!"

"Moon has a point! Jadeite could have made the each plane strong against one of the two attacks. Maybe if you switch, the damage will increase and be enough to stop the planes!" Tuxedo Mask yelled.
