Chapter 7: Nephrite's Released-edited

Setting: Dark Kingdom, a week later

Nephrite POV

'Damn, those so called ladies beat me again! How am I supposed to explain myself?!'

"Nephrite!"

'Oh man, that's Queen Beryl calling me.'

Transporting myself to where her majesty's throne is, I get to my knees and bow to her, "You called, your Majesty?"

"It seems you are having trouble with gathering energy, why is that?"

"Well, the number of enemies have increased, and the monsters are not powerful enough to defeat them..."

"Fine, then I give you permission to unleash your shadow."

"Yes, thank you."

"We've been gathering energy for a while now and we've only managed to allow Queen Metallia to awaken from her slumber just once for only a short while. It seems we must find a new source of energy."

"Then what should I do?"

"Use your shadow to find the Silver Moon Crystal. It stores incredible energy and with that we can finally restore her Majesty."

"I understand, I will start looking for it right away."

"And Nephrite, don't fail me again."

"I won't."

Setting: Hikawa Shrine, after school

Usagi POV

"Alright, let the meeting begin. It's been a week since Nephrite first attacked us, and I think his next target is her."

I take out a newspaper that had the heading, 'The Princess is going to reveal the Silver Moon Crystal at her ball on the upcoming Thursday.'

"No way, he wouldn't fall for something like this!" Lita said.

"Yes, Nephrite wouldn't but this is his clone and I'm willing to bet that the princess is in danger."

"Then what's our plan?" Ami asked.

"You do know that only those who are invited are allowed inside right?" Rei asked me.

"Tsk, tsk. You guys have taken me for the fool I used to act like. My father has been invited as the person in charge of taking pictures. As a result, our entire family has been invited. Mamoru has been invited as my date, and Ami is invited since her mother will also be there for social connections as the head doctor of the best hospital around. Lita, Rei and Minako, you three will gain entrance as our friends."

"What!" Rei, Lita and Minako screamed.

"Oh, did Ami and Mamo-chan not mention it to you?"

"I forgot..."

"I was planning to do it after the meeting..."

"Wait! We forgot the most important part, our dresses!"

I laugh along with Mamoru, "Oh, I have the perfect dresses for you!"

I pull out the huge bag I had carried up the stairs. Inside there are eight outfits, I pull out four first, "These are the dresses that I made with the crystal. I had them designed so that you can wear them in an event like this."

I handed them out to the assigned person.
