Chapter 20: Captured!

Usagi POV

I open my eyes and find my body feeling heavy. Knowing the feeling, I carefully shift Rini off my arm and torso. She was clinging onto me, and sleeping so soundly.

'So adorable! My daughter is the cutest in the world! I just know that she'll be a heart breaker in the future.'

'You mean our daughter, Usa.'

My body jumped at the sudden voice in my head, 'Oops, I'm still not used to separating my thoughts and the thoughts I send to you through our bond.'

'I don't mind. Do you?'

'Of course not, I have nothing to hide from you. It's just that I need to control it for special occasions, like your birthday. I definitely want to surprise you but I can't do that if I send all my thoughts through our bond.'

'Ah, that's true...So why are you up so early?'

I checked the clock, 'I didn't realize it's only five...I guess my body thinks I've got enough sleep.'

'Which is the complete opposite of who you were supposed to act like.'

'Key word: used to. I don't have to act like a clumsy, lazy person anymore.'

'Exactly, it's just...you used to rely on me more then. Now, I kind of feel...I don't know.'

A smile appeared on my face, 'Seems like you're feeling lonely. How about I come over after school? We can spend some quality time then.'

'What about Rini?'

'My family can watch her, or the girls.'

'Then, I'll be waiting princess.'

I took a quick shower, and changed clothes. Making sure Rini was still asleep, I entered my secret office. I opened my laptop to see two mails from the Outer Ladies. One came from Pluto and the other from Saturn.

Reading through I got the gist of their emails.
Pluto warned me that Rini cannot start using her  crystal for another 1,400 years. Right now she's  only 200 years old according to the Moon Kingdom. For humans, it would be enough to live multiple life's. However, 200 years on the Moon is nothing. Even in my past life, I was at least 2000 years old before I started my training. For us, 200 human years is equivalent to 8 Moon years.

Even if Rini has been alive for 200 years, she still has the mentality of an eight year old. Which explains why she's currently in grade one.

'So Pluto wants me to take the crystal out of Rini's body. Then she wants me to give it to my future self. This seems tiring...'

After that, I read through Saturn's email. She wishes she can help us in this battle, however, these incidents still don't fall under their jurisdiction. However, they all trust that everything will be fine in the end.

'Hotaru is sweet as always! Reading her emails always give me energy to continue doing my best. Though I miss her and the Outer Ladies.'

Putting away the email, I opened a saved document labelled the Black Moon. I quickly typed all the new information we gathered yesterday. As well as everyone's new powers and weapons.

"All four sisters have been purified and sent to mother. Their duty is to watch over her along with Ann and Al. Kunzite and the other three will return to Endymion tomorrow , and will start helping us guard Rini.

We've found out that a red haired man, named Rubeus, is their captain. They all work under the orders of the Wiseman and the two princes. It is said that Prince Diamond rules over the clan, while his younger brother: Sapphire advises him.
