Chapter 33: Usagi's Birthday (2)

Neptune's POV

I hold Uranus back, as we watch the glass monster hold our princess's heart crystal. It shines with such a bright and pure energy. It makes us wonder if it was one of the three that we needed.

"She knows who the Talisman owners are, maybe it's because she's one of them?"

"NO! Fate can't be this cruel!"

I shake my head, "We both know that Fate can be cruel, after all, it destroyed the Silver Millennium despite all our efforts."

I see the Prince chasing after the monster, with his injured back.

"Tuxedo Mask, you can't fight with that injury!"

"Well I don't have time to waste! I don't know why you are just standing around but, Usagi will dies if its not returned to her! I can't lose her again!"

"We both agree, so leave this to us."

After that, we chased after the glass monster. Luna alerted the rest of the group, agreeing to meet up at one location.

"Uranus, World Shaking!"

"Neptune, Deep Submerge!"

After a few moments, we noticed that this monster has the ability to create glass swords. It's good at close combat, but its not good at handling long-distance attacks.

'Mars, we can use your help.'

'I have sight on the monster. Can you distract it?'

'I'll distract it. You and Neptune attack from both directions.'

'You'll get caught in the attack!'

'I'll dodge it.'

'You better.' I reply to her.

Uranus begins to attack close range. She's always been good at fighting like this, just like Jupiter. I shake my head, this isn't the time to lose focus.

I see Mars' arrow make it's way, so I also attack.

It screams in agony, before leaving behind another Daimon egg, which breaks on impact with the floor. Uranus jumps to retrieve our princess' heart crystal when we get attacked.

'Uranus, she's not part of the four in Mugen Academy!'

'She might be their boss. It won't be good if she recognizes us!'

'Then leave! We'll handle it from here!' Venus sends a telepathy to us.

'But she'll be strong, can you four handle it?'

'We'll be fine, we also have backup coming.'

'That's right, our boys will be here soon. And if anything, Queen Serenity can send us Ann and Alan or the other members.'

'Then, we wish you good luck.'

'Please, save our bunny.'

'Don't worry.'

Mars' POV

"We'll have you return that heart crystal now!"

"Why would I listen to you?"

"Because that heart crystal is not the one you're looking for, otherwise, you would have left already."

"Oh please, this pure crystal is more than enough to make up for a talisman. Even better as I can use it to create one of our own. I'm merely here to destroy the four of you."
