BY NIGHTFALL, THE GROUNDS HAD ARRIVED.
Hazel stood by Bellamy, behind the walls. Up until then, she was doing what she could to help prepare the camp for the arrival of the Grounders. Until then, the only ones out there were the scouts, who were only watching the camp. The fighters had yet to arrive. At the sound of the war drums, she knew the fight was there.

Without a word to each other, Hazel and Bellamy were running towards the tunnels, leading to the different foxholes set up around the wall. She wasn't sure which one Bellamy was leading them to. Sam was with Jasper and Harper, at the west foxhole by the gully. They headed for the north, where Miller and Monroe were. Octavia had been there too.

"Where's Octavia?" Bellamy quickly asked. His rifle was already aimed up to the wall, the same as Hazel's.

"She left five minutes ago. Didn't say where." Miller answered, not even looking away from the scope of his gun. "She thinks she's a damn samurai."

Hazel grinned at that. "That's my girl."

"See anything?" Bellamy asked.

"No." Monroe huffed out. "What the hell are they waiting for?"

"The longer they wait, the better." Bellamy stated. "This is about buying time for Raven."

"I see them. They're moving." Sterling's voice came up on the radio. "I count one, two, three. No, wait- there's four. I don't know, man. There's too damn many of them."

"Who was that?" Bellamy asked as gunshots fired.

"Sterling, I think." Miller said. "South foxhole."

Bellamy grabbed his radio. "South foxhole, report now."

"Yeah, yeah, we're okay. They didn't attack. It's like shooting a ghost."

"There! There! I see them!" Monroe shooting, seeing the shadows moving through the trees. She quickly started shooting. Miller did the same. Gunshots fired towards the woods.

Bellamy grabbed Hazel's rifle before she could do the same. "Stop! Stop1 Hold your fire! Hold your fire!"

Hazel listened to the clicking of the guns, both running out of ammo. "Reload," she said quickly. "Reload now!"

"Those were our last clips." Miller huffed out.

"We should..." Monroe stammered, "we should fall back."

"No." Bellamy shook his head. "If this position falls, they'll walk right to the front door."
