HAZEL WATCHED THE RADIO THROUGH THE
corner of her eyes. Bellamy was late. Waverly and him we're supposed to check in every three hours. It brought a pit to grow in her stomach, a constant worry for her best friend. Even so, she trusted that everything was alright, knowing they had more than just radio check ins to worry about in that mountain.

Clarke was less calm about it, rushing into engineering. "Have they checked in yet?"

"No." Raven answered, looking to the Grounder that accompanied Clarke through the camp. "You worried someone's gonna try and take a shot at you inside the Ark?"

"Wait outside, Ryder." Clarke instructed her guard, shooing him away. She looked back at them. "Lexa's orders."

"I guess that makes sense after an assassination attempt." Hazel nodded, knowing of the Mount Weather soldiers that tried to kill her. Of course, one of them was dead and the other was delivering a message. Or dead, depending on if he ran out of air before he made it home or not.

"Whatever, Clarke." Raven muttered out, looking back at the map she drew out of Mount Weather.

Clarke turned towards the radio. "They're late. What if something's happened to them?"

"They'll be fine." Hazel said, looking towards her. "They have like a thousand things to do there, Clarke."

"You've been busy." Clarke looked towards the schematics they had out for the dam. She frowned. "Why are you focusing on the dam? I told you, acid fog was our priority."

"We're waiting on Bellamy." Hazel said.

Raven nodded her head. "Until Waverly and him get eyes on their dispersal system, there's only so much we can do."

"Fine." Clarke muttered out. "Tell me about the dam. Can we cut off their power?"

"Maybe." Raven said, looking back to the map of the mountain. "We're still playing with a few things."

Clarke then picked up one of the tone generators they made. She turned it on, listening to the sonic sound that came out of it. She flicked it off. "How many of these have you made?"

"Two." Hazel answered.

"Two?!" Clarke exclaimed. "That's not enough! They'll be Reapers everywhere!"

"Yeah, I had no idea." Hazel grumbled out, narrowing her eyes towards her. "Keep in mind the fact that you told us to build these yesterday. I'd be happy we already managed to come up with two."

"Yeah, no kidding." Raven glared over. "High frequency tone generators don't grow on trees, Clarke. Wick is scrounging for parts."

Clarke turned to them, her shoulders clenched up tightly. "Guys, I am about to leave for Tondc where Lexa and the heads of all twelve Grounder clans are waiting for me to tell we're a go, only we're not a go because they still have acid fog, and we only have two tone generators."
