"BY NOW, YOU'VE ALL HEARD THE RUMOUR."
Abby stood in front of the camp, Jaha standing beside her as she addressed them over the decision to come with the upcoming Grounder attack. The choice that the Commander left for them- stay or die. Waverly stood with Jasmine, Clarke, and Finn in the crowd, anxious on her decision.

Running might honestly be the smartest option. It was the safest.

It also meant leaving those in Mount Weather behind.

"And unfortunately, it's true." Abby continued. "The Grounders are coming. We have a difficult decision to make. Thankfully, Chancellor Jaha has found his way back to us, and we are discussing all options."

"Options?" Jasmine's eyes widened at that, turning towards Clarke. "You don't think she's actually considering leaving?"

Jaha stepped froward. "But to be safe, you need to pack. Now. Whatever you can carry. We may need to leave at a moment's notice."

Waverly scoffed. "He can give me a moment's notice all he wants. I'm not going anywhere without my friends." Her gaze flickered down. "Or my dad. I won't leave him behind either." Even if he might already be dead.

"Where will we go?" Someone called out from the crowd.

"I don't know is the answer." Jaha answered honestly. "But I heard of a place- A city of light. It's across the Dead Zone."

"What makes you think we'll make it there?"

"Because we made it here. I have faith." Jaha said, an attempt to bring hope to the group as he pushes them to leave. "And right now, given the alternative, that's good enough for me."

"Not for us!" Clarke stepped forward. "If we leave here, what happens to our people in Mount Weather?"

Jaha only stared across at Clarke, speaking in a hard tone. "As your mother said, that's a very difficult decision to make. But the time has come for each and every one of us to ask- Is this how the story of our people ends? Did we come all this way just to die tomorrow? Because if we're not gone by the time that sun rises, that is exactly what will happen."

Abby only looked at the murmuring crowd. "No decision's been made. In the meantime, please report to your station supervisor and gather emergency supplies."

Waverly looked towards her friends. "They're gonna choose to leave, aren't they?"

"Of course, they are." Jasmine shook her head. "We're always the expendable ones, the acceptable losses. Being on the ground hasn't changed a thing."

"Not if I have anything to say about it." Clarke moved forward, striding to get to her mother. A hand quickly pulled her back. Clarke turned, looking to see Bellamy pulled her back towards him.
