WAVERLY WAS CRADLED IN BELLAMY'S ARMS,
her head pressed against his shoulder. Her breathing thick, raged in painful gasps, having continued since they left the cave. She had passed out from the pain shortly after they left, her fists that had been tightly clung to Bellamy's shirt loosened and fell slack at her sides. The group moved fast back, knowing they didn't have the time to waste.

Waverly didn't have the time for them to waste. She needed medical attention. She needed Clarke.

"Hey, I'm here." Clarke ran out when she heard them calling her name. She looked to where Bellamy came through the gates, Waverly in his arms, the blade still sticking out of her chest. "Waverly. Waverly?! Oh, my God. Oh, my God."

Raven walked out from behind Clarke, her eyes widening at the sight of her. "Oh, my God."

Harper sprinted towards them. "What happened?!"

Waverly checked Waverly's neck, her hand pressed against her sweaty and pale skin. She breathed out after a moment, finding her pulse. "She's alive."

"Finn, what happened to her?" Raven asked him. She noticed the blood smeared down his arm. "You're bleeding."

"It's nothing, I'm fine." Finn shook his head. He looked back at Waverly. "The Grounder that took Octavia, he was going to stab me. Waverly pushed me out of the way before he could. She saved my life."

Jasmine looked towards Clarke. "Bellamy wouldn't let us take the knife out."

"No, that was a good call." Clarke said quickly. "Get her in the dropship. Go!"

Bellamy passed Waverly's body off to some other delinquents, his eyes hardly being able to tear away from her as she was carried to the dropship. He couldn't forget how scared she was in the cave. He couldn't forget the fear that went through him as she passed out, not knowing if she going to die before they reached the camp or not.

"Bellamy," Waverly whispered out in a thick breath as she gasped out. The pain was spreading through her. She could barely handle to move anything. Tears stung her eyes as she tried to force a brave smile across her lips. "Bellamy."

Bellamy had scooped her up into his arms. "I got you, I got you." He said, barely able to think over what he was saying. The words just flew out of his mouth. "Just stay still. We're gonna get you home, okay?"

"What about the knife?" Jasmine asked. "Shouldn't we take it out?"

Bellamy shook his head. "No. Clarke can figure that out when we get back to camp." He looked back down at Waverly, wincing as she gasped out as she shifted in his arms. "Hey! Hey! Just stay with me, Waverly. You're gonna be okay."
