EVERYTHING WAS GREEN.
The trees, the grass, the bushes. It was like a sea of pure green, bright, and vibrant. The sky was bright, a beautiful and soft blue colour. The sun was a bright yellow. It looked different on Earth then it did in space. It was so bright that it hurt Waverly's eyes looking at it. Earth was beautiful.

Even more miraculously, it bloomed with life despite a century without humans.

"We got problems."

Waverly looked up from where she laid back amongst the dropship door, bathing in the sunlight. Her dark gaze flickered towards Wells. "How can you think of problems when we're on Earth?"

Wells continued, looking towards Clarke. "The communication system is dead. I went to the roof. A dozen panels are missing. Heat fried the wires."

"Well, all that matters right now is getting to Mount Weather." Clarke said. "See? Look." She pointed down to the map she had, drawing a line to where Mount Weather was located. "This is us. This is where we need to get to if we want to survive."

"Where'd you learn to do that?" Wells asked, watching how expertly she mapped the line. Clarke avoided looking at him. Wells nodded, understanding quickly. "Your father."

"Ah, cool, a map." Waverly looked up at the boy that approached. He was only slightly shorter than Wells, with curly brown hair, and a pair of goggles on top of his heat, matting down his brown curls. "They got a bar in this town? I'll buy you a beer."

Wells pushed him back. "You mind?"

Waverly sat up. "Wells, relax."

"Hey, hey, hey!" John Murphy, one of the delinquents, walked over, a pack of other delinquents falling behind him. "Hands off him. He's with us."

"Relax." Wells held up his hands. "We're just trying to figure out where we are."

"We're on the ground." Bellamy pointed out, strolling over with Octavia, his sister. "That not good enough for you?"

Wells turned towards Bellamy. "We need to find Mount Weather. You heard my father's message. That has to be our first priority."

"Screw your father." Octavia scoffed. "What, you think you're in charge here?" Her eyes glanced to where Clarke stood. "You and your little princess?"

"Do you think we care who's in charge?" Clarke looked towards her. "We need to get to Mount Weather. Not because the Chancellor said so, but because the longer we wait, the hungrier we'll get and the harder this'll be. How long do you think we'll last without those supplies? We're looking at a twenty-mile trek, okay? So, if we want to get there before dark, we need to leave now."
