💕 CHAPTER 24 💕

Ashika was drinking some juice and having some snacks with  Jungkook, Seulbi, Yuri, and Iseul. 

Taehyung also talked with Yoongi, his wife Minji, Hoseok, and Jiah. 

Everyone was busy with someone or the other. Jimin and Yerin were still standing together. Jimin was scrolling something on his phone very casually. He was not sparing a glance at Yerin who stood beside him. Yerin decided to speak up making Jimin look at her. 

" Jimin, what the hell is wrong with you... Everyone knows that we were promised to each other when we were kids. Stop pushing me away for that foreigner girl...!" 

Jimin sighed and spoke. 

" I don't need to explain anything to you Yerin..."

" Jimin... I know something about you that no one does. No one and abso-fucking-lutely no one knows. And you know that as well."

Hearing her Jimin looked at her with an unreadable expression. His face showed guilt? Sadness? And regret...? This only meant that there really was something that was being hidden from everyone but Yerin. 

" Look. You promised that you would not tell that to anyone. I broke Ashika's heart for you Yerin... Please" 

" Then don't feel guilty about it " Yerin spoke.

" It's difficult. I have been with her for almost 4 years now... And her coming here is not helping me... I never wanted to do that when we were young..." Jimin spoke. His voice was breaking with each word he spoke. 

" Jimin, I have never ever spoken about that to anyone... and I did that because I like you a lot Jimin... I have been liking you since the childhood... even if you bullied me... I didn't stop liking you... "

" Yerin, it's jin hyung and Rumi noona's anniversary party. Let's not talk about this here please...?" Jimin spoke softly. 

" Fine... " Yerin spoke. She liked it when Jimin spoke softly to her and excused himself. Though she felt angry at Jimin for speaking about Ashika softly as well. She pulled out her phone and sent a text message to someone. 

The party went on with everyone giving gifts to the couple. Many guests were there just to make business relations and initiate some deals.

After the formal party ended, they all jammed to the latest songs and dances their hearts out. 

Even Ashika and Taehyung. They both were dancing together with each other. It was as if the people and things around them had faded away. It was like only the 2 of them were there. They were so lost in dancing. 

Maybe, dancing made them lose all of their worries and show everyone the best of them that they were hiding from the world. They all were in the poolside of the Kim's mansion. 

Hoseok, Yoongi, and Seokjin moved towards the barbeque setup to prepare something to eat. All the others were still in their own world, dancing wildly to one of the most famous spanish party songs Gasolina. 

Even Jimin and Yerin were included in the jamming part. Jimin and Yerin too were dancing together leaving everything behind. Music does make people feel light and helps them cope up with everything they are going through. 

They all were dancing. They heard Hobi yell and call them for the barbeque. Taehyung went to them as he heard him. they were dancing on one side of the pool while the barbeque was on the other side. 

" Come on guys!" Seokjin spoke this time. 

Hearing him Jungkook ran towards them. Accidentally, he pushed Ashika in the pool. The pool was not very deep. It was a 6 feet pool. 

Ashika fell in the pool with a splash. 

She was drowning because the water level was above her height and she couldn't balance and swimming was not an option because she didn't know how to. Ashika's aquaphobia kicked in and she had a sudden panic rise through her. 

It was as if all the things that happened with her that caused this phobia were flashing in her mind. The breath she tried holding choked her. She had a panic attack inside the water. This was all so sudden that she couldn't even yell. 

Taehyung and Jimin, both heard the splash and almost immediately their eyes searched for Ashika. Both of them knew about her aquaphobia. Taehyung and Jimin without thinking about anything jumped inside the water to save her. Taehyung swam as fast as he could and so did Jimin. 

Taehyung reached near Ashika before Jimin could. She was loosing her consciousness.  Taehyung pulled her out of the water in bridal style. Namjoon and Seokjin helped him out of the pool. Jungkook was too stunned to speak anything. In fact everyone was. Yerin was practically boring holes in poor Ashika's soul. 

Jimin was still in the water. Jungkook and Hoseok helped him. Yoongi was noticing how Yerin was glaring at Ashika. 

Taehyung walked with Ashika towards his car out of the mansion. Ashika was clinging onto him as if her life depended on him. Taheyung was walking with Ashika in his arms towards his car when he saw that Seokjin's driver was there only. 

" Mr. Kang, quickly come here and drive my car" 

Seeing a shivering Ashika in Taehyung's arms, the driver ran towards him and unlocked the car.
