LAMINES POV!

It was Ballon D'or day, probably one of the biggest days of the boys life. He was up agaisnt some amazing candidates, Pau being one of them. If it could go to anyone apart from himself he would want it to be Pau. His original La Masia bestfriend, with his resilience and hard working ethic he deserved it so much but their years had been very different. Lamine had carried Spain to the Euros final, won it, scored plenty goals during the Champions Leauge season and catered to Barcelonas El Classico win. So the odds did somewhat feel in his favour. The boy wasnt nervous at all, growing up the way he did all these opportunites just made him feel even more grateful. Waking up next to Alicia was one of his favourite things, her head always rested on his upper left chest as she listened to the sound of his heart beating. Usually she would wake up first and wait until he was ready to get out of bed but Lamine had a lot on his mind. He felt bad, dragging her around with him everywhere but he was just constantly drawn to her. Sohaib said their flight went well, Alicia spent most of the with her Air Max's on listening to music as she pondered life out of the window but she was nervous.

His dad was a major part in his life and was probably his biggest fan. Alicia spent most of her childhood knowing his mother much more, she had seen his dad a few times but never as his girlfriend. What she didnt know is that there was nothing to worry about. Lamine spent his youth constantly talking about Alicia. From the way she talked to the way she looked, she was always topic of discussion. He couldnt talk about her with his mother or she would end up telling her mum and it woukd become a whole thing so with his father not being as involved with the friendgroup as she was they always spoke about her. When him and Alex got together it came as a shock but he accepted it, everyone did. He saw how the two looked at each other after the Euros game and it was obvious they would end up together, one way or another. Just because Alicia didnt spend as much time with him as a kid didnt mean he was going to automatically dislike her for it, he just wanted Lamine to be happy. Fortunately for Alicia she had a boyfriend who cares. Knowing exactly what she needed, who she needed apart from him of course. Stepping out of bed and allowing her head to drop onto the pillow, he stepped over all the sprawled out clothes from last night and headed to the bathroom. The last thing he wanted was for her to be feeling nervous, he needed her alone to keep him going. So if it meant bringing the girls here, that exactly what he was going to do.

"Seriously Mini? Its 7am?" Alejandro tutted, leaning himself up against his headboard. The boy hoped Maria was next to him and she would listen to what he had to say. "Lo se Lo se" Lamine replied, leaning his camera up against the sink as he begun to sort himself out. "But i need you in Paris" Lamine explained, watching as Alejandros lips turned into a smile and he pretended to be bashful at Lamines comment. "Awe stop it!" Alejandro exclaimed, waking his girlfriend up with the wave of his hand as he cupped his own cheek. "Balde. Im serious?" Lamine sighed, before the phone came stumbling out of his hands and into Marias who was much more serious than her boyfriend. For someone who had just woken up, Alejandro seemed pretty energy full. "Im sorry? Did you say Paris? Today?" Maria squealed, fighting off Alejandro who protested to her taking the phone from his grip. "I can get you on the next flight out" Lamine explained, watching as Maria listened intently. It was any girls dream to go to Paris so even if it was only for a day anyone would take up the offer. "No." Alejandro scoffed, taking the phone from out of her hands when she grabbed her own and immediately began to text the girls. "This isn't for me Ale, it's for her" Lamine explained knowing Alicia was one of Alejandro soft spots. He had grown up around her plenty and thought of her as a little sister. Him as much as any others could never say no to her. "How down bad are you?" Alejandro pretended to be repulsed at his care for her knowing he would do the exact same if it came down to Maria. "Ignore him Mini, I think it's cute" Maria called out from wherever she was before Alejandro quietly mocked her positive attitude while rolling his eyes. A pillow came crashing into the boys face before he ended the phone call.
