~HEY SIRI! PLAY LATCH BY SAM SMITH
"Alicia wait!" The boy called, pausing inside the elevator waiting for her to turn around. Her eyes met his, she looked like she was deep in thought but still open to what he was about to say. "I need to talk to you" Lamine explained, walking out of the elevator as the doors had begun to shut. Her eyes rolled in frustration and he wondered what had changed from the car journey to now. "So now he wants to talk" Alicia tutted, crossing her arms with dissappointment. The whole night had been so up and down, she didnt know if she was coming or going and after being such a tease now he insisted on talking. "What?" The boy asked. She was doing that thing when she spoke not directly to him but as if it was her inner monolouge seeping. "You spent the whole night teasing me Lamine and now you want to talk" Alicia exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air totally confused at his new found voice. "I wasnt teasing you Alicia" Lamine replied. If hadnt cracked jokes, randomly touched her she wouldve spent the whole night completely mute and quite frankly that was a waste of money. "Okay Lamine" She said, disregarding whatever he was about to say before continuing her walk towards Leilas door before they woke some innocent person up. "And dont think because we kissed, Ive forgiven you." Alicia hollered, walking as quickly as she could to Leilas door as Lamine huffed and puffed from behind her. "Theres nothing you need to forgive me for" Lamine replied, his voice low but Alicia still being able to her and immediately spinning around at his comment.
"Are we seriously doing this again?" She asked, her eyes looking up at him with pure confusion. "I didnt kiss you to prove anything to Jude Alicia" Lamine explained, his voice coming across condescending as he moved his mouth slowly as if she couldnt comprehend what he was saying. "Then what was it Lamine!?" Alicia questioned, waving the shoes that were held in her left hand around as she tried to get her point across. "Because i felt it" Alicia shouted, trying her hardest to be quiet. It was a indescribable feeling she had felt. It was a kiss like no other, pure emotion and feeling behind it but in the weirdest way. Then Jude walked past with the most perfect timing. Lamine had glanced toward the other three boys unaware of how it would make her feel but she was so wrong. "You felt what?" Lamine asked, knowing exactly what she was talking about.
After the game he had been so overwhelmed just knowing she was there waiting for him was an instant weight off his shoulders. Seeing her stood next to Ale, Nico, it had reminded him of his last big game, she had been there but not by his side. Every major mile stone im his life, his first game, his debut, the Euros final and now El Classico. Alicia had been there. She had been there this whole time and he regretted not acting on his emotions sooner. The night he first kissed her, that was supposed to be their beginning, the start of the pair, but her education got in the way. Then she came back two years later and it was so hard to hold himself back but he did it out of respect for Alex. There was nothing stopping them now and he treasured that every day. He mightve played the long game but it all had worked out in the end. He kissed her out of pure realisation that he had loved her all along.
It had always been her.
Thats what she felt, his love, for the first time.
"I dont know Lamine. I dont know" She explained, realising how stupid this had all been. She had taken one opinion and ran with it, causing this whole commotion. Running a hand through her hair she awaited for him to say something as his mouth was slightly gaped but he was too deep in his thoughts to comprehend anything. The movement of her body turning away brought him back to reality and he paced after her. Pulling her hand off of Leilas door handle his breathing visibly sped. She glanced up at him, her eyes looking tired with the whole conversation and ready to just go to bed. "Can i just-" Alicia asked, reaching for the door handle again before he grabbed her hand away. "No, just stop-" Lamine asked watching as her face screwed with frustrstion, what was he actually playing at. He had been the least intrested in this conversation as soon as she begun talking about Jude, or thats what she thought.
