"We need to go" Lamine spoke, the noise of him leaving the sofa made her spin around. She hadn't fully taken in his outfit. It was jet black, matching with hers. His curls looked rough, like a hand had been ran through it, usually hers. While his jewellery stood out. They were both wearing their matching Van Cleef bracelets, and it was the first thing they both noticed. She didn't like the tone in his voice, it was assertive and he had only done it because he knew how much she hated being told what to do. "A simple 'lets go' would've been nice" She replied, bending over to slot the wrap in her heels up before walking towards the door, where he stood waiting for her. These two were too alike, she immediately matched his tone making sure he knew she wasn't one to be played with and that was finalised when she passed him her bag to carry. "Yet you're still here" Lamine replied, taking the bag from her hand. Their skin touched, it felt familiar, comforting and warmth. They both felt it but Alicia wasn't folding over one touch from him. His comment made her face screw as he leant over to lock the door behind the pair but she found herself waiting for him to be done before beginning to walk but from the smug look on his face he held when he realised she decided to speed off in front.

She heard him laugh a little from behind her before she stopped for a few moments contemplating whether to take the stairs or the lift. She had only taken the lift before because she couldn't stand being around him for a whole stair climb but since she had cooled off the stairs felt like a better option. "What are you doing?" Lamine asked noticing how she insisted on proving a point and walking down the stairs. She was visibly struggling with the shoes she had decided to wear as they were definitely not made for walking down four flights of stairs. Jogging down them to catch up to her his hands fell on her hips helping her to re balance herself. He felt her whole body relax just at his touch and tried to shake the million thoughts that were racing through his head. Alicia had paused in place, she soaked up the warm feeling for what felt like years before placing her hands on top of his and pushing them away. "Im trying to help you" Lamine laughed at her sigh before rolling his eyes with frustration. "Im fine" Alicia cut him off as he was about to start protesting before wobbling towards the banister and grabbing a hold of it. "A simple 'thank you' would've been nice" He scoffed feeling her eyes burn holes in him from behind as she thought of what to reply with but eventually just remaining silent.

Alicia shook her head with annoyance, somehow he knew exactly what buttons to push and when and now wasn't a great time. She was heavily regretting taking the stairs but the view of him waiting at the bottom eased her regret. His head was in his phone, frantically texting someone that wasn't her. She wasn't bothered who it was as she was obviously his main priority right now and it was probably just the boys anyway. He felt her brush past him, pushing the doors of the apartment complex open and being shocked by the cold. "Shit" She muttered underneath her breath. Like other things, she had underestimated how cold the night air in Madrid would be and now wasn't regretting not bringing a jacket. She watched from the corner of her eye as he shoved his phone in his back pocket and placed her bag on the floor so he could pull the bomber jacket off of his shoulders. It fell onto her shoulders, and he rubbed his hands down the arms of it to seal in some of the warmth before picking her bag up off the floor.

"Thanks" Alicia thanked him, feeling him smile a little at her comment before jolting his head towards the left as their taxi had arrived. She still had no clue to where they were going and it did play on her mind, maybe it was the after party after all and Lamine just wanted to get changed into different clothes but these were far to classy just for a club. One thing about him, no matter what he remained a gentlemen. Opening the taxi door for her so she could slide in before hopping in himself. She listened as he spoke to the taxi driver in his native language and felt herself easing up but knowing him he was probably just doing this on purpose. "Where are we going?" Alicia asked, crossing her leg over the other revealing a small area of her skin but that was enough to get Lamines attention. He stopped in thought for a few moments like he was debating with his conscious about what to say. "Be patient Lici" He replied, re adjusting his trousers while he did so. There was still tension between the two and they still were being petty with each other but for this night to be a success, conversations needed to be had. Asap.
