HUENING KAI—

Weeks had passed and the situation with Finn died down quicker than I thought. It was lucky timing, because during this time another female idol who had been victim of his harassment suddenly came onto the internet and made a large post about him and the way he treated women in the company. She was brave for doing so, and despite the hate she received for it, this case was taken seriously by Hybe and they investigated it.

Y/N was able to finally speak up, too. This was the perfect opportunity to remove him from the company and made sure he never messed with us again. She told her story to the chairs in Hybe and collected footage from the night he had punched me in the face. We were lucky—incredibly lucky that Finn never got the chance to retaliate before his ass was dragged out of Hybe in front of the entire Korean press. To me, it was karma taking action, and I was incredibly pleased about it—especially knowing now that he'd never get the chance to be around Y/N again.

Due to this happening, we had to put the song on hold for now, and once things died down Bang was going to assign more producers for us to help. But for now, there was too much drama and chaos surrounding Hybe's producers and that needed to be figured out first. I was disappointed because I felt like we were so close to the song being finished, only to run into yet another obstacle.

Other than that, we were busy as per usual. Y/N was holding up better than she had been, seeming less stressed out or at least distracted from it when she was with me. She was cheerful, silly, and talkative—her real personality finally being shown to me. I was still conflicted about my feelings—I had so many chances to tell her that I liked her, so many moments where everything felt just right to say it but at the same time didn't feel right enough.

I didn't know where she stood in terms of her feelings for me, either. It was obvious that we saw each other more than just friends—I wasn't oblivious enough to miss the way she stared at me deeply, was often touchy, and seemed more cheerful when she was with me.

If it was truly as simple as being affectionate towards each other, we'd already be together. But I knew there were a lot more layers to this than just that, and with how meticulous and planned out Y/N was, I knew her brain was stopping her from fully wanting me.

I just needed to know that she'd be willing to take whatever came our way if we were together—and I knew that wasn't going to come easy. Dating has an idol was near impossible.

I was really getting impatient, though.

TXT and Y/N's group were eventually due for another night out. Despite Y/N, Beomgyu, and I seeing each other frequently, as well as some of the others, it had been a while since all ten of us had gotten together. We kept in touch, and were still all really close but with our different schedules it was difficult to make it happen. However, we were finally able to make it happen and threw another party at Y/N's managers' house. It was exactly like the after party we threw after our comeback, except this time ten times more chaotic because everyone was much more comfortable with the other.

We were all eating dinner, except unlike last time, the two groups were all sitting together in the living room, chatting. Although I was pretty tired, with everyone's energy levels so high I couldn't not be having fun as well.

"Remember when we played truth or dare? That was so funny!" One of the girls laughed, nudging Y/N in the shoulder. "You and Beomgyu were beefing so much!"

Y/N rolled her eyes and shook her head. "Everyone was too drunk. Especially you." She nodded at Beomgyu, who shrugged smugly.

"It was fun, right Y/N?" He asked teasingly. "Now that you've gotten to know me, is Kai really still the most attractive TXT member to you?"
