"SLEEPOVER TIME!!!" Kai yelled, his loud voice echoing throughout the room due to the lack of furnishing. I laughed as I followed the man inside of my own apartment which he seemed like he owned. He quickly made himself at home, going into my bedroom and shutting the door behind him. Then he emerged a few moments later, wearing his pajamas.

"I see this is becoming routine for you." I commented from the kitchen, admiring him. He looked giddy, having not stopped smiling since I moment I picked him up from the TXT dorm.

Kai was probably more excited about me moving into my new apartment than I was. If there was one thing he loved most about being with me, other than me (of course,) it was sleepovers. Sometimes throughout the week we couldn't see each other for long periods of time, and so sleepovers meant that we could be together for hours, even if half of the time spent was just sleeping next to the other.

And while we did sleep over at each others' dorms before, it wasn't ideal. We often stayed up late talking and bantering around, having too much energy to go to bed right away. So it was no fun when we had to quiet down because of the others.

So when I finally got my new place, Kai was really excited. He was always over when he could be, enjoying this privacy that we now had together and was new.

I'd gotten used to how clingy Kai could be. He was always wanting to be together at any available moment in the day, always texting and calling constantly as well. I hoped that I was being attentive enough to him because he really was like a golden retriever, needing attention 24/7. It was cute.

I grinned as he pranced back to my side, smiling down at me happily. I could imagine a tail behind him, wagging around with the way he looked so eager.

"Need anything? Water? Snacks?" I asked him, going on my tiptoes to give him a kiss on the cheek.

"No, just need you." Kai said sweetly, reciprocating my kiss with a soft one on my forehead. He looked around at the living room, which was filled with boxes that still needed to be unpacked. "How long has it been since you've moved in?" Kai asked with disappointment, placing his hands on his hips and standing like a dad.

I whined, shaking my head. "I know. I'll do it another night. I don't feel like it."

"No, no, that's why I'm here. Your strong and manly boyfriend will build your couch for you!" He cheered, walking to the living room and plopping himself down onto the floor. I laughed at how hyper he was tonight and didn't protest as he tore open the box and got to work. I had been putting off unpacking and furnishing for longer than I should've, so maybe Kai starting it would help me feel more motivated.

"I brought you here to hang out and you're doing my unpacking..." I mumbled, hiding my smile.

"It's okay, doing stuff like this is fun. It's like building legos but bigger." He told me, flashing me a boyish grin that had my heart fluttering in my chest. "Go relax and do whatever you need to do, m'kay?" He said, shooing me away with his hand.

I smiled, chuckling lightly. "Thank you, Hyuka." I said before heading off into the shower. I took my time, unwinding after finally changing into my pajamas. I headed back to the living room and silently laughed when I saw Kai sitting in the exact same spot I left him, still fumbling around with the instructions manual. All the pieces of the couch were spread around him but remained unbuilt.

I tiptoed behind him, placing my hands on his shoulders and yelling in his ear.

Kai calmly turned around, blinking at me. I scoffed and stomped my foot. "Dammit, I thought I for sure got you." I complained.
