Jungkook's POV
As the argument heated up, Jin hyung's voice cut through the noise, silencing us all. "Jungkook, go for it if you must. But remember - no lasting damage. We don't need that kind of trouble."
"So what's your plan of attack, Jungkook?" Jimin asked his eyes gleaming with competitive spirit.
I lounged back, hands behind my head. "Haven't decided yet. Debating whether to go for brazen seduction or play the long game."
"Careful she doesn't play you instead," Taehyung replied dryly. "Remember Jin's words - no harm done."
I smirked. "Please, when have I ever needed help winning a woman over? You two are welcome to have a go after I'm done."
Namjoon hyung nodded. "A woman unwilling to back down - a worthy challenge indeed. But proceed with caution, such conviction demands respect."
"Please, when have I ever not respected a lady?" I scoffed, though his gaze held a new spark of intrigue.
Yoongi hyung snorted. "Do you want the itemized list?"
I just glared at him to make him shut up.
"With an attitude like that, it's no wonder she caught your eye, Kookie," Hobi hyung chuckled.
"Don't Kookie me." I glared at him.
As our bickering escalated,
Yoongi hyung interjected, "Maybe if you two stopped thinking with your bal-"
"Alright, enough," Jin hyung cut in, his tone authoritative. "How about we all try thinking with our brains for a change?"
"That's rich coming from you," Yoongi hyung snorted.
"And you think with your heart, don't you?" Jin hyung fired back.
Yoongi hyung paused, his eyes widening in surprise, then he let out a deep chuckle. "Touché."
The atmosphere was charged, a mix of tension and amusement. I rolled my eyes, downing the rest of my drink in one go.
"Kook-ah, don't take her warning too seriously. If you want, I can ask someone to give me some info on her," Namjoon said.
I raised an eyebrow. "Why? What good would that do?"
"So, you can see if she's worth the effort or not." He suggested.
"If you think I'm going to let a waitress tell me what to do, you've got another thing coming," I scoffed.
"So, what are you going to do? Go back to the hotel and harass her again?" Jin hyung challenged.
"No. But that doesn't mean I'm going to let her push me around." I fumed.
"Kook, just let it go. She's not worth the effort," Hobi hyung tried to reason with me.
"Yeah, listen to your hyung," Namjoon added.
"You can't just ignore a girl who stood up to you and gave you an earful," Hobi hyung said.
I sighed and nodded. "You're probably right."
"Probably? Try definitely. Now, come on, let's play a game. It'll help you blow off some steam," Taehyung said, standing and grabbing the video game controllers.
As I watched him hand out the controllers, my thoughts returned to the waitress. Maybe the others were right, and it would be best to just forget about her. But I couldn't help but feel a burning desire to prove her wrong, to show her that I'm not the kind of person she thinks I am.
My eyes drifted to the whiskey bottle on the table, the amber liquid calling to me. I shook my head. No, I had to stay focused, not give into the temptation of alcohol.
"I'm in," I said, taking a controller and sitting next to Hobi hyung.
The game started, and I immersed myself in the action. As the battle began, the familiar thrill of adrenaline surged through me.
A slow, dangerous smirk spread across my face. "I'll show her exactly who she's messing with. I'll have her falling for me in no time."
The guys groaned, already regretting their advice, and the room filled with the sound of laughter.
My lips curled in a smirk. "By the time I'm done, sweet Alba will be ripe for the picking."
"Just try not to break her, yeah?" Jimin quipped with a wink. "Leave some scraps for the rest of us when you're done!"
I waved off his concern. "Relax hyung, when I'm done she'll be begging for more."
"Oh, I'm already loving this" Hobi hyung said laughing hard.
"Me too," Namjoon hyung added.
"Me three," Jin hyung said.
"You guys are the worst! Few minutes ago who was telling me to RESPECT the girl" I mocked them. "No one can tell that you three are actually the eldest"
"We know, Kook-ah," Hobi hyung replied as his laughter grew louder.
"What can we say? We love the drama," Namjoon hyung said with a shrug.
"Stop acting like girls" Yoongi hyung said with a disgusted facial expression.
"Hey! I'm not acting like a girl" Hobi hyung yelled.
"I think we're all acting like girls right now," Namjoon hyung replied.
"Agreed," Jin hyung said with a chuckle.
"Can we just get on with the game? I don't have all night," I said, impatient to get started.
"Okay, fine," Namjoon hyung replied.
As we focused on the game, I couldn't help but look forward to the challenge ahead. Sweet, innocent Alba has no idea what's coming. She's about to be swept off her feet, and there's nothing she can do about it.
"I hope she doesn't bite the bait," Hobi hyung whispered to himself.
"Oh, she will," I said with a grin.
"Ooooooh! Bring it on," he replied raising his eyebrows up and down.
"Just watch me," I said with a smirk.
With the excitement of the competition brewing, the air was electric. The banter continued, each of us sure that our skills would win the day. And the stakes were high.
It was the ultimate challenge - proving myself against the toughest opponent I've ever faced. A challenge I was more than ready for.
"Well then, let's get started." I grinned.
And the hunt was on. I sat back, my mind whirling with thoughts of Alba. She was a challenge, and I thrived on challenges. I couldn't wait to see her again, to make her see that she couldn't simply dismiss me. Alba would be mine, and I would make sure nothing would stand in my way. I would make sure Alba will fall for me, no matter what it took. I couldn't help but smile as I imagined the look on her face when I finally claim her as mine.
The game was on, and I intended to win.
