Alba's POVJimin abruptly told you to come with him, in the middle of the dinner. You didn't know why he was feeling the jealousy inside him, maybe it was because he saw the look on your face, or maybe because he couldn't believe that you were sitting so close to Jungkook, after what he had done to you in the past?
After you exited the dinner and got inside the car, he asked you what were you doing and what were you two talking about. You couldn't understand why he was suddenly asking these questions when you knew that he saw everything.
"Jimin, are you mad at me?" you asked him.
"Mad? Of course not, why would I be mad at you?" He said looking at the road ahead.
"Because of what happened at the dinner."
He shook his head and placed his hand on your thigh. "Alba, I'm not mad at you, I was just surprised to see you sitting so close to him, that's all."
"Jimin, you know it's nothing like that. I was just trying to be civil, and the guys were there with us. I wouldn't do anything stupid." you protested.
His hand on your thigh tightened. "I know, princess. I'm sorry for accusing you like that, it's just, I don't know, I guess I'm being a little overprotective."
"It's okay." you said, placing your hand on top of his. "I understand."
"But I want you to promise me that you'll just try to ignore him, okay? I don't trust him, and I don't want him to hurt you again."
"I promise." you said, smiling reassuringly. "But he didn't do anything to hurt me believe me he was just trying to be polite. We were just talking."
"I know, and I'm glad that you're being so mature about this, but still, just be careful, okay?"
"Okay, I will." you said, feeling a little uneasy.
You didn't want to tell him that you didn't hate Jungkook anymore, not like the way you used to, and you also didn't want to hurt him by telling him that you were enjoying his company. But most importantly, you didn't want him to feel that you were going behind his back and trying to be close to his friend.
After he dropped you off at your apartment, he left. You went straight inside your room and started getting ready for bed, you couldn't help but think about what had happened tonight. You were genuinely surprised that Jungkook had actually made an actual effort to talk to you like a civilian, it was the first normal conversation between you two, and you couldn't deny that you enjoyed his company.
But then, you remembered what he had done to you, and you were reminded of the pain and heartache that he had caused. No matter how much fun you had tonight, or how nice he was, you couldn't forget that.

Jimin came by next morning and took you to breakfast because he was going away for a company conference and he would be back after a whole week.
"Will the guys be going?" You asked, sipping on your coffee.
"No, only me and Jungkook. The others will stay here and continue working."
Your heart started racing at the mention of Jungkook. The idea of Jimin and Jungkook being alone together stirred a mix of unease and curiosity in you. You forced a smile, trying to mask your growing anxiety. "I'm sure it will go well."
Jimin must have noticed your reaction and gave you a reassuring smile. "But don't worry, we all are planning a weekend trip to Busan." he said, smiling reassuringly.
