Alba's POV

"No, Jimin. Don't!" you sobbed, your emotions spilling over as the reality of the situation crashed down on you.

But he didn't stop. He took another step closer, his eyes full of regret and desperation. "Please," he pleaded, his voice almost breaking. "Just let me talk to you."

In a surge of emotion, you lashed out, hitting his chest with the flat of your hands. "I thought you were being sincere last night," you cried as you hit him again, the tears streaming down your face as you let the hurt pour out. "I showed you my vulnerability... I shared my deepest secrets, and you..." your words faltered as the weight of his betrayal made it difficult to continue.

Jimin didn't flinch as you hit him. Instead, he stepped closer, catching your hands in his, gently but firmly holding them to stop you from hitting him again. His touch was warm, but it only fueled your anger and heartbreak. "I was sincere last night." he said, his voice low, filled with an earnestness that was hard to ignore. "I listened to your secrets, and I wanted to comfort you. I swear."

"Why would I believe that?" you shouted, pulling your hands away, your voice thick with tears. His words, though pleading, felt like they came too late, after too much had already been shattered.

"I know I've given you no reason to believe me," he admitted, his voice cracking slightly under the weight of his guilt. "But please, just give me a chance to explain."

From the other side of the room, Jungkook huffed in frustration, his presence a constant reminder of the cruel words he had thrown at you. "Seriously, Jimin?" he muttered, his tone dripping with disdain.

Jimin's patience snapped. "Shut it, Jungkook." he barked, his voice tight with annoyance. He shot a warning glance at Jungkook before turning back to you, his expression softening as he gently took your arm. His touch was hesitant, as if afraid you would pull away, but firm enough to guide you.

He led you towards his bedroom, away from Jungkook's harsh gaze. The room felt like a different world, quieter, more intimate. Once you were inside, he closed the door behind you, the sound of it shutting blocking out the rest of the world, and with it, the judgment and pain that had filled the air outside.

Jungkook's POV

The hallway felt like it was closing in on me as I watched Jimin lead a sobbing Alba towards his room. My heart hammered in my chest, each beat echoing louder than the last. She had just discovered the truth - that she was a bet between us. But Jimin, it seemed, had caught feelings for her.

They reached Jimin's door, and he opened it, gently dragging her inside. I stood there, frozen, my mind a whirlwind of emotions. The image of Alba's tear-streaked face was seared into my brain, I had never seen her like that before, so vulnerable, so broken. And I knew, deep down, that I was the one who had pushed her to this point. My words, my actions.

My heart pounded in my chest, a mixture of anger and something else, something I couldn't quite name boiling within me. I wanted to storm over, to pull Alba away from Jimin and demand answers, but I was rooted to the spot, a silent observer to a scene that shouldn't have affected me as much as it did.

Before I could act on my impulses, the door clicked shut, leaving me alone in the living room. The silence was deafening, amplifying my frustration. I stared at the closed door for what felt like an eternity, my fists clenching and unclenching. Anger, jealousy, regret - they all fought for dominance, leaving me breathless and aching. How could Jimin do this? How could he comfort her after everything we'd done?
