Alba's POV
Jimin looked at you and with a slight tug as he pulled you closer to him, his body pressing against yours as he looked deep into your eyes. "Whatever it takes." he said, his voice low and intense. "I'll do whatever it takes to show you how sorry I am."
"Then act like you are sorry." you demanded. His words were not enough. You needed actions, proof that his regret was genuine and that he was committed to making things right.
Jimin's grip on your wrists tightened as he dropped to his knees in front of you, pulling you close so that he was kneeling between your legs, his head resting against your chest. "I'm sorry." he repeated, his hands releasing your wrists to slide around your waist. "I'm so sorry, princess."
Jimin's head leaned more heavily against your chest, his cheek pressing against the soft fabric of your shirt. He held onto you tightly, his arms wrapped around your waist, holding you close as if he was afraid you might disappear.
His shoulders trembled slightly, a silent indication of the emotions he was trying to hold back. "Please." he said again, his voice hoarse, "Please forgive me."
He stayed in that position, kneeling at your feet, holding onto you as if he was afraid you would disappear if he let go. His body trembled slightly, his emotions raw and vulnerable.
"Promise me, Jimin." you whispered, your voice breaking the heavy silence. You needed more than an apology. You needed a promise, a commitment that he would never hurt you again.
He nodded, his hands squeezing your waist as he spoke in a firm but shaky voice. "I promise." he said, his gaze never leaving yours. "I promise I'll do whatever it takes to make this right."
"You know Jimin I've already suffered enough." you said, "I don't want another heartbreak." Your words were reminder of the pain you'd endured, and the fear of facing it again was palpable.
He nodded, his hands gently caressing your waist. "I know, princess." he said. "And I never want to hurt you again. I won't let you suffer because of me, princess."
He pulled you closer, his arms encircling your hips and his head resting against your stomach once again. He hugged you tightly, his body pressing against you as if he was trying to convey his feelings through the closeness of skin on skin. "I'll do anything." he murmured, his voice muffled against your clothes. "Please, give me a chance to prove it to you."
You sighed. "Alright, fine." you finally said. The decision wasn't easy, and you knew it would take time to rebuild the trust that had been broken. But for now, you were willing to give him a chance, holding onto the hope that things could change and that he truly meant what he said.
Jimin's head shot up at your words, his expression filled with a mix of surprise and relief. His arms tightened around you, his grip almost desperate as he searched your face to see if you truly meant it. "Really?" he asked, a hint of disbelief in his voice. "You're giving me another chance?"
He held you tighter, his hands roaming along your back as if trying to keep you as close as possible. "Thank you, princess." he said, his voice wavering slightly. "I won't let you down again."
He pulled you down to sit in his lap as he held you against him. His arms encircled your body, his face nuzzling against your neck. "I promise you, I won't make the same mistake again."
Your heart fluttered, the sincerity in his voice. "I truly hope you don't, Jimin." you replied truthfully, feeling the weight of the past begin to lift.
He pulled back slightly to look into your eyes, his expression sincere and heartfelt. "I won't." he said firmly, his voice steady. "I know I messed up, and I know I don't deserve a second chance, but I swear I'll do everything in my power to make it up to you."
